@DDD offered me a little challenge: He had a nice-looking scene with an interesting mechanism, inspired by the Japanese shishi-odoshi. Could I make it into a playable level?

Here's what I came up with, trying not to disturb the pleasant design. The star is DDD's good idea. I made a small tweak to the posted version to close a shortcut. (Sorry about the mechanism noise; turning down your volume is recommended.)

Another great level by @Block builder, Hamlet, started me thinking again last week. It's got a beautiful setting, fun storyline, and a mysterious, surprising ending. Cows, too! I switched out the L-bot, and the stars. Then got inspired to try a few other things, and ended up changing the gameplay quite a bit. So if you played this before, try to forget what you did and start fresh. (Thanks to @Kureigeous68 for the sticky metal!)

The statue of Saint Bot has fallen from its place in the grotto, and broken. In his quest to restore it, B must rescue his helpful (but blockheaded) friend, face an angry bull, and get through the haunted chapel and a dark, flooded cavern. If he can reach the statue, then maybe, with help from on high, he can repair the statue and be elevated to sainthood himself.

To get past the bull, bump the ball just as the bull starts charging.

Without taking any credit away from @Block builder, you have improved, well maybe the word is not improved, you have made the gameplay more difficult by changing practically everything... the design and the bull's step seemed cool to me... thanks, great job! ;)

I enjoyed another fun little world by @Block builder recently, Sand castle. Great-looking castle, and fun to explore. I got a little nervous at one point, because it looked like the end would be very challenging. When it turned out differently, I kept thinking about that imagined ending, and then tried to make it doable. I think it's an exciting finale.

There's a troublemakeR hiding somewhere in the castle. B needs to get him locked up before he can continue on his way. But the troublemakeR will probably try anything to escape (and cause more trouble for B if he can).

What a fun adaptation @cimarronline. I fell short at the ending. :rotf: I like how this completely changes the story, which overall might be more fitting.

I was very impressed last week by the wonderfully imaginative and enjoyable multi-level saga Spell Book, by @Valentin. My son played all the levels he could manage, and I helped him with the harder ones. The last one got me thinking. B could only climb so far, but what if...? So I did some experimenting, and learned some more about R behaviors above the 16 block limit. (If "B" gets stuck on the climb, moving the tower a bit usually gets him going again.) Playing all the previous Spell Book levels first is highly recommended!

Just finished playing the tweaked version of Sunken Sanctum, and it was fabulous!:p Had to go back and replay it a bunch of times to see how all the balls and mechanisms moved, they worked so magically. Thanks for the challenge and enjoyment
