This all can be there if mekorama forum is merged into the game in itself. Taking inspiration from fancade.

Wheel block. Function: can be used as a FD and can break free motors. Loaded to draggable with slider moving horizontally
makes an endless ride, maybe that will get on a obstacle. Loaded to not-free motors will shoot out bots and FD.

I agree. If any new blocks are introduced, they can't change how the old blocks work. But new blocks using the same system could work.
Maybe cylindrical grass or half round dirt?

    • Removable blocks that can be erased somehow to get rid of them, eg: a metal pipe in the way.
    • Blocks that crumble away after you step on them (like in Manic Miner). Perhaps with several stages before they disappear so you can go back over them but not repeatedly.
    • Sliders that go round the curved pipes. So they go round corners, not just left and right.
    • Quarter-circle blocks so you can make circular shapes like a doughnut or arch. Not like the rounded corners which aren't useful for truly round shapes.
    • Inverted quarter-circles too to make round holes.

Okay, I'm PRETTY sure this one hasn't been suggested yet, and it just kinda came to me:

A cross sectional rail. Basically two rails overlapping.

If nothing else, I think they would look nice. It wouldn't make sense for sliders to actually be able to change axis though.

So a slider can use it from either side?

Yes. The sliders couldn't cross over, so the cross sectional piece would function as a fence with the dimensions of 2 rails.
It's mostly aesthetic but could have a benefit in mechanisms as well!
