this is a vault that you have to set the code from the back and pull the door from the front to win this level. There are hints scratched on the vault. All of the codes are set to zero and the code is a ten digit code

Read these if you can't read the hints on the vault:
      4 Bits - AAAA - C_H_D

      These are extra:
      1) If D=Decimal, what could C and H mean?
      2) you're lucky if you have Linux and your good with command consoles.

Comment if you have completed this level >:)

I think your level is too tough thats why no one has rated it so far. I tried my hand, but was unable.
    • AreaRankDragon
@I_am_Bot I know; but I had to make it like that so the code is 99.99% impossible to obtain without solving the puzzle. Even if you find the code it's really tough to enter it cause you have a bad vision on the lock; but I'll accept it as if you have completed it if you just say the code.

@AreaRankDragon I think the code is
      1094795585
but I can't get it right because I can't see what I'm doing in the lock. If you confirm that is the correct code I'll tell you how I came to that number.

@AreaRankDragon ok, I've now verified that I got the right code. I think the main problem people will have with the level, if they figure out the code, is that as you mentioned it's virtually impossible to actually get the sliders into the right position. I tested my 10 digit code by loading your level into mekostudio, and peeling back the layers to let enough light, plus removing the water, just so I could see the sliders clearly. Even then, when I reloaded it into my phone to test the combination I would occasionally get the sliders slipping as I took my finger off the screen. So unfortunately not many will enjoy the detail you put into The Vault because its too hard to manipulate. Just so we're clear, here's how I figured out the code.
First, using D for Decimal it was fairly obvious that H was Hex. Since the other letter was C, not O for Octal I guessed it stood for Character. This being the case, the AAAA was the starting point. Using AAAA as a hexadecimal number and converting to Decimal produced 43690 which was only a 5 digit number. So instead I used the ASCII code for "A", in Hex, which is 41. So converting 41414141 HEX to DEC produces 1094795585.
Having tried to make this work on the published version was impossible for me. So, as I said, I tested the combination on a more open version where the light made it possible to see what I was trying to do, and job done.

@IceBlade you r completely right and I'm happy that someone finally figured it out, great job

@AreaRankDragon Again, it's a shame. It was a clever code and mechanism. Maybe one day you could produce another, equally clever combination and make it more visually accessible. It felt worthy of solving if that's an encouragement to you. I used to program a Z80 microprocessor and used copious amounts of hex and binary in coding it, but I doubt many people these days have even heard of ASCII, let alone Hex. As they say, there's only 10 types of people on the world... those that understand binary and those that don't.
    • AreaRankDragon
@IceBlade I will definitely try to make a more visually accessed version of this level in the future (and different levels with the same type of puzzle), also daaamn the binary thing is true
