Phoenix Rising

Indiana B discovers yet another ancient temple and witnesses the legendary Phoenix rising from the ashes. He must find the hidden Treasure(Win Block) before the Phoenix reignites to start the resurrection cycle over again. Simple point to point, no tricks, using sliders and motors.

Don't be put off by the graphics, the gameplay is a straight forward point to point using sliders and motor rotation. No tricks but some herding required. The R bot on the upper level can be a bit uncooperative but some prodding should eventually persuade him to walk the fiery path and collect the star. Zappers are purely cosmetic unless you persuade B to make a wrong turn when herding.

The win block is HIDDEN but most people will intuitively guess where. All will be revealed on your second last move if you haven't already opened Pandora's box.

The level can be very noisy, I struggled and failed to fit in a latch for the risen Phoenix. This has been a really challenging build. I can only suggest mute the volume or switch off sound on your Mekorama options.

Please note the image on the card has been substituted to better show the expanded graphic but it is still the card generated by Mekorama and not a screen dump. If you choose to download from the site the original generated graphic will display but you will play the game as illustrated.

The plethora of vertical sliders ARE required. The combined weight of the blocks in the rising platform is colossal and the addition of even just a few can upset the balance. I'm finding this a feature of these larger levels and it appeals to the engineer in me.

      A Cecil B de Mille set for a B movie screenplay.

Astonishing design, pure Meko-Art my friend & the gameplay was fun too...at first I won with logic but with a risky step due to the manhole but as I didn't use all the elements I played again & found the intended path, the stable & cool one... Thanks for sharing @MekoMole ;)

Thank you @delator77 for such kind words and most generous rating. It's music to my ears that you found it fun.
Well spotted on the shortcut. I missed that but, of course, having read your comment it was blindingly obvious. I have been having problems with B falling into manholes unintentionally, either a product of fuzzy tapping or my rapidly ageing eyesight and coordination, and my focus has been on avoiding them rather than using as you have done. I think it's fixable but I'll leave it for the moment, interesting to see if anyone else spots it. It is risky, I fell off, but given how easy to recover worth the risk.
Thank you for playing and some very valuable feedback.

Cool design and fun to explore. After reading @delator77's comment I realized I took the same manhole shortcut.

Also, I like your "B movie" pun!

Thanks @MekaSage for compliment and very generous rating. Really glad you found it fun.
Looks like I may need to update the card. The fix is fairly simple, add in 3 slider bar segments. Need to work out forum etiquette on updating.
The Feedback from yourself and @delator77 has prompted me to find a similar problem in a level under construction so my thanks to you both.
      Thanks for playing and commenting.

A screen set spectacle indeed but all the information led me to believe that something clever , a reincarnation, would happen at the end especially as the screen shot shows two Phoenixes. So it was a bit of an anticlimax for me.
    • MekoMole
Thank you @ridgerunner for your honest feedback and generous rating. I take on board your comments regarding my description and illustration building an expectation that wasn't realised. Time to throttle back the studio buildup for future releases. You have, of course, set me thinking about an alternate ending. Thank you for playing and apologies that the game turned out to be an anticlimax.

Amazing design !! Once again, you've worked really hard to create the level. I appreciate it very much!! Very beautifull thanks!!

The gameplay is also very interesting. When there is a huge amount of details and sliders at the level, it is almost impossible to avoid shortcuts. It is a fact. But, this time, I tried not to notice anything except your intended path. A very interesting adventure. But R without an eye - absolutely does not want to go up the stairs! Better put your eyes!)).;)

Thanks for the piece of art.

Thank you @Denis Nazin for very kind words, extremely generous rating and advice. I found this a difficult level to build, limiting myself to two clear 3x3 block vertical shafts within the temple. Doesn't excuse sloppy oversight of vertical shortcut. Think I will follow the advice you gave another member and dispense with win blocks, limiting the effect of any shortcuts.
I have been following your own prodigious output but have to confess they often exceed my limited playing abilities. That said I enjoy exploring them but have recently been reprimanded for awarding ratings to levels I have been unable to complete. I will switch to judicious use of comments.
Thank you for playing and stay safe in these uncertain times.

A big adventure and a beautiful Phoenix, who could ask for more. This was a very fun and enjoyable level to figure out. Thank you so much!:p

Many thanks @Sammy 5 for boosting my morale with such kind comments and very generous rating. Glad you enjoyed playing and found it fun. I've been reluctant to post another similar level I've been tweaking for some time, but you have motivated me to go ahead. Look out for 'Eye of the Tiger' in a few days time.
