New Autopilot

It is a slight variation but a traditional autopilot also works in this level with B starting on the step higher than the ball so i am not sure what the benefit is?

The success rate of the trick when you attempt it for the first time is not 100%. You can even fall undesirably anywhere when B further walks through the upper stair block but if you're a smart player, you can press the lower stair block to redo the AWESOME TRICK.

The success rate is higher if B is from a farther position

In this level card for example, you can already attempt the "New Autopilot" where B is even at its initial position in the level card.

For my first comment, B can still climb to the higher stair at some attempts.

Curious variation...I did a bit different but your way is cooler

@EL797 ....benefit of.... I realise one benefit is the ability to place a zapper up top to exclude the traditional autopilot .

Not fan of your method as it's not intuitive and doesn't always work. My way works ever time for me.

Isn't this more about where you start the autopilot, than it is about being a new autopilot?
Because really, the only difference is where along the route you start it, right?
In fact, B's difficulty in stepping off the ball makes every attempt unstable no matter where you start from .. and after countless plays trying different starting positions, it seems his original red block (after dropping the ball) is actually the most successful!
Every other starting point suffers from a large degree of failure with B falling off the platform or giving up in confusion near that unstable ball.
