Dream is Over

When that dang alarm goes off, B just wants to roll over and hit the snooze button, but if he does that he'll be late for work, which wouldn't be good. (autopilot is used)

Funny, I was coming back to download the card to show you the ball drifting in a video and I noticed the card in a different order. I see you've fixed the ball drift so I'll give it another go.

(fixed a previously unseen shortcut, and an instability problem that some people were having)
"The Dream is Over" is a 1991 song from Van Halen, from their album "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge", the 3rd from their Van Hagar lineup. This album actually sounds like the old Van Halen, and the song "Judgement Day" sounds like it was pulled from their very first album, very nice stuff. "Right Now" and "Top of the World" charted very well, and "Right Now" was even used in an ad for Pepsi.

@Meko Guy Ball drift and a shortcut that I hadn't seen before.

That worked better - thanks. I believe you should be able to play some of my levels as this one was more complex than your norm.

@Meko Guy It depends on the tricks used... some tricks I'm still not good at, and logic isn't always my friend.

I didn't notice the difference from the original card. Still love it, :D:D:D!

Very nice puzzle with some unexpected twists. Here in STL MO we have a very soft spot in our hearts for the Red Rocker. Always thought the "notorious acronym" Van Hagar album was from the late '80s, but 91 is pretty close. Definitely still has that 80s production sensibility for certain. Thanks for the reminders and the fun level.

@Jom That lift where you have to shove B across the inset stairs... that ball at the bottom of that lift is the addition, otherwise you wouldn't need that lift at all, just use the stairs.

@Don G Rowe I like a lot of Hagar's stuff, but this was about the only Van Halen album where his style worked with theirs. But yes, that moniker began in the 80's with their album "5150", which came out in '86, followed by "OU812" in '88, and this one in '91. "Balance" in '95 was the last one with Hagar, and wasn't quite as good.

Very good puzzle. It was difficult to see B’s path, so I made B push as many balls as possible. I did not shove B with the horizontal slider but I used the autopilot trick on various occasions. I may have played the initial version.

@GFJ You probably did play the first version, before I found that shortcut, but I'm glad you liked it. I usually try to keep B's path visible, but in this case that wasn't possible.

@D.S.Masters I enjoy it when the path is a little bit hidden, as long as you can see enough to guess where it might go, :D:D.
