I played one of @Feta grodox gr0 level that use this behavior, and i interested to experimenting with it...

    - The two wedge need to be in right of the bot if u used R
    - left if you used L
    - it seem L act different from R, he can fall with block R can't and vice versa... (Some of the blocks is have same effect to both bots).

If you found something or you found my conclusion was wrong, you may want to share it here...

The reason why this happens is metal snapping. A wedge block is 50% solid block and 50% empty, allowing the legs of the bots "snap" to the ball underneath, letting them fall.

So it's like make the bot stumbled? And then why the block in middle of the path can block the bot fall?

Interesting bit here! Is it necessary to have the balls raise up resting on sliders to accomplish this effect?

I believe this happens because R/L centers itself over a ball (or a slider, or metal blocks attached to a slider), for stability. When the ball is pushed up underneath a wedge, R/L sees the ball instead of the wedge, and centers itself on the ball, in this case halfway between the wedges. This puts R/L half a block off, so as it continues it will fall off an edge.

The ball/slider centering can also be used to prevent R/L accidentally falling, because it can be used to re-center R/L.

No. You can use anything to raise the ball. As long as the ball hold there.
LR 2.png In my demo, i only use metal block, but you can changeit to fence and other blocks you want that can connected to vertical slider.

Here's another way to offset R (and re-center him):

I like how the metal attached to slider can stop R and prevent him from fall though it isn't moving...

Here's a level that has interesting L falls, and also uses metal connected to sliders to recenter the bot so it doesn't fall in the wrong place: Slips Trips. (If you want to see video of it, my R version of that level is here.) @Fendi is a master of R/L behaviors.

I think he taught me the R fall move (using a ball) that I used in this edit of a Block Builder level: Water
