Once in third wheel, I was able to change B from one side to other moving the wheel veeeery sloooowly.

I sent B from the 2nd to the 3rd wheel, and before he arrived there, rotated the 3rd wheel such that B would autopilot acros a gap and land on the longest arm of the 3rd wheel.

It took many many attempts oh, but I was finally able to solve using the same method that @chemi described. A definite challenge.
