Good to know, isn't it? :D

EDIT: Maybe should I mention and link to the official webpage of Daydream where mekorama is listed.

I have red this review of Mekorama Daydream VR and I've found the video and the article really interesting specially if like me you've never had the opportunity to test it on VR.

    Summary:
Fantastic controls and clever gameplay make Mekorama a true gem and the best puzzle game on the Daydream platform at launch

It's interesting that one can lower the point of view, allowing one to see inside structure and to touch square which would be inaccessible in standard mekorama. The trade-off would seem to be what looks like more slop in using the virtual controlas there is no tactile feedback on the control wand's positioning.

    Different, but still fun.

I don't think they can do that. They seem to just be lowering the view to places that can be seen in the mobile app, but are cut off in VR. As for the controls, you never really know it until you try it.

In the video posted by Gepeto, from 1:18 to 1:28, you can see the POV lowered so the viewer is looking straight into the structure at eye level, allowing a view of the underside of blocks, and then looking up at B from below, both of which are not possible in standard mekorama. The undersides of blocks are also visible from 1:59 to 2:05.

From the little I know on 3D theory, the game have simply switched from an orthographic to a perspective projection, which really feels more immersive (maybe along with a secondary camera point of view for the stereo vision).

On such a way that's true that some hidden faces of the blocks can be joined and some internal stuff previously not viewable can be revealed, but it stills from an external point of view.
