So I've made the basic idea for a level component. After playing around with it a bit, I decided I need help in slowing down the mechanism. Please play this level and let me know how to make it more workable. As it is, the circular motion makes it (in some spots) too hard.

Thanks for the tip. I really should sit down and read through all the stuff that is already there. I guess I will have to rebuild portions of the level as this trick seems to reverse the direction of the motor (another potential use). I post some level that are still at the conceptual stage for R&D as to share the idea. I have some ideas that I've not put out in a polished level yet but hopefully some folks benefit from the notion. Also, what's wrong with the page?

It seems fixed now (or maybe it's because I'm using another device). Last time, our avatars and names didn't appear and the thread looked pretty messy.

    Just as an observation...

A slider will remain fixed in place when incorporated into a moving unit. You wont be able to create the rotation in the other direction at the same speed as the slower motor.

Try it with the bare minimum components as a proof of concept first to see how it reacts differently from your hoped-for target.

Yeah, I did make one just to check and see how it worked. It is actually decent, I simply need to tweak my level to account for the change in direction as some platforms were based on direction of travel.
