Does anyone know how to create a free hanging block or set of blocks that can be pushed/moved in any direction but does not move by itself.
    I'm imagining - a ball on a string
    - a bell clapper
Any tips, suggestions, cards to view; very welcome. :)

Do you mean pushed by the player, or a bot? Here's one idea, pushed by the player. There's an eye hidden in the middle, with a half pillar under it, allowing the rotation.

Thanks, that's pretty close to what I was trying to make. I never thought of using an eye. Here is what I came up with so far bit neither is very stable.

I am not sure if this matches your description, but in my level "Hair Dryer", players can freely move the cord to capture the stars. Here is the card:

You only need the cord to capture one star, since other stars can be captured by B.

Yeah, but it has higher flexibility. I once considered creating a level involving two motor cords that could be tied together, but didn't know how to execute that idea yet
