Tuck Under Good

A no trick level but one R behaviour is used

Tuck Under Good
Meko Guy, Jun 15, 2021
Ray Aznable and Pratik Bhalerao like this.
    • Meko Guy
      - the title means what is says
      - if R doesn't have time to tuck under good, then R can get stuck getting out
      - see demo
      [IMG]
      - if a block isn't centered, then R will become off balanced and may jump off
      - the auto slider is off centered
      - Z first
      - then B
      - then R

I didn’t encounter the problem referred to in the title. I used different bot to push the high ball and a different bots to unfreeze some bots.
i was confused initially as I thought this was part of the gameplay. When B is squeezed to push the metal half cylinder, B rises up so that elevated eye redirects Rbots.
    • Meko Guy
@ridgerunner - You were pushing with a lot of force to get B up for EE. As for the other stuff, different devices different workings I guess. Thanks for P, C and R.
    • Pratik Bhalerao
I know R should push that Ball.
      But both falls.
      What is missing?

@Pratik Bhalerao - Sorry I was busy without stuff (offline). R doesn't need to go down onto the grass yet? Why did Z land on the grass? Can B help so that doesn't happen to R?

Loved the logic in the beginning and got me minutes to get it. Very slight different way on getting both B and R to the win area, but still in intended order,
I used B's eye to getting R to drag pillar so that B can be pushed first and R can walk afterwards. I had a issue when trying your way so I used that instead.
      Neat logic level overall

@Pratik Bhalerao — Did you explore enough on the bottom floor? There has one major thing you missed.
      Movable, Bot, Push, Metal
      B :sneaky:

@Pratik Bhalerao — No sacrifice here and B has safe end (at least that's the intended way),
Just put B on first wedge, two blocks away from Z that stay still as shown in this picture.
And let R into front wedge, then see what happens. R does the win here don't worry ;)

      @Meko Guy

My R stucked, 2 times in a row.
Before that Z fell down from Rail.

I have understood and visualised the paths,
      so will not skip this.
Instead, will give a another try tomorrow.

Exhausted of doing same moves again and again.

Seen some sample cards in Hints, checking that.
    • Meko Guy
@Pratik Bhalerao - The name or title is the biggest hint here. 'Tuck under good' - Did you look at the sample card? If R or Z don't get under the wedge FULLY, when they are released they will get STUCK from the wedge to their side. In the above picture, B released R too soon.
    • Pratik Bhalerao
      @Meko Guy

      I see.

So I need to let R stuck fully.
      Got it.

@Pratik Bhalerao — That image is exactly what I was facing for first attempts. There's no way to recover from that other than restart whole level. And that's something you should keep out for.

@Meko Guy — I too did the wrong stuff like that, releasing R too soon right when R gets into the wedge. Resulting that accident.

Nice tuck. Took some time at the top floor to figure out the right timing. I don't know why when Z walks past R(which had tucked fully)from beside will cause R to kind of comes out from the tuck and starts to tuck again. This causes me some restarts. The push bots by draggable pillar to get to the final area suprisingly works perfect and no restarts from there. Thanks for sharing @Meko Guy
