Trick or Treat

Not to be taken too seriously but hopefully fun. Contact with the witch has to be avoided at all costs. The Bats are mainly cosmetic and not relevant to gameplay. They do however add, I think, to the atmosphere. They are also a somewhat disorienting distraction and, again in my opinion, add to the difficulty of the level. Be aware however that one of the Bats is a keen fan of classic movies like the Blue Max and Aces High and could snatch victory from you at the last gasp if you hesitate.

I spent considerable time trying to avoid sticking points but there are still occasional hesitations in movement. Life would have been easier had I accepted metal through metal clashes but hopefully I have eliminated them all.

To avoid zappers plot B's path precisely using shorter X and Y movements in your head before moving as you have to be quick. There are refuge points. I have the advantage of constant practice during development but the disadvantage of the effects of age. Hopefully one balances the other and I have set the timings to be challenging but not too difficult.

Oh dear @ridgerunner, touch of majesty in response, another Ferguson moment. Yet another Board of Enquiry at public expense. I'm thinking of coming out of retirement and retraining as a lawyer, where there are design cock ups there's money to be made. Have you ever considered becoming an ethical hacker, I think you have the perfect skill set for it.

Very nice sculpture of a witch on a broomstick! Very realistic, great! Very clever placement of Z. If you hurry, you will definitely hit Z. The witch forces you to hurry - very clever.

I'm an indifferent player myself so getting the correct level of difficulty is challenging sometimes. I always have the advantage of practice during testing of course.
Zappers are an emotive topic as are the restarts they generate. Personally I think they add an Arcade flavour but many people would disagree with that sentiment.
