Magic Book

Bob has been captured by a wizard, but can escape only if he discovers the spell in the Magic Book. He'll have to go through every page (literally) to find the final spell. As is often the case with good books, sometimes it helps to start at the end.

No tricks, just exploration. Make sure you look carefully, as the shadows hold secrets. The Magic Book is old and tattered, but at least that lets the light in. I hope you have fun.

The idea is very original and non-standard. There are many similar levels and gameplays. That's why I love any new ideas! For me, any successful new idea is worth higher (in my personal rating) than even good and difficult but banal levels.
Thanks for the great idea!! From me 5.;)

Very original & very fun!! As I love to read I have had the feeling of turning the pages of the magical book of Mekorama  thanks for sharing @IceBlade great job ;)

Thanks @Denis Nazin, yes it's not a complex level, but it seemed like a fun idea. I had to work hard on reducing the shadows, so making the book old and tattered was the thematic and practical solution. Thanks for taking the time to check out the level. I really appreciate it.

Hey there @delator77, thanks so much for checking it out, and for the great rating. As I said to @Denis Nazin the shadows were a challenge. Once you get a couple of layers in you can't see anything. I worked on different ideas. For example, starting with a vertical book that drops into position, but the shadows were just as bad as when it was horizontal. I tried spacing the pages more but it didn't feel like a book anymore. Finally I settled on making it old and tattered, so that gave me "permission" to use that to allow a little light through the layers. Otherwise it just ends up like one of those hidden levels that @Meko Guy hates. Lol. Again, not a logically complex level, but a bit of fun hopefully.

I love the concept of this level and how smooth the pages turn. One of the best "no balls" levels I've ever played.
    • IceBlade
@P_simorf wow, thank you so much for your comments and rating! I am so very pleased that you checked it out.

The last chapters are cool !
I thought I had misunderstood something and would have to start again from the beginning, but I managed to read between the lines. :D

      Superb level

Thanks @Valentin. Well done working your way through the text. Really appreciate the comments and the rating.
