Tagalog uses the word bola (ball) too. We borrowed it from Spanish. Google says that Indonesians borrowed bola from Portuguese .

Based on @Blue Tower's comment - I gave this a go. On my first attempt, the balls didn't reach the zappers, they all hit the metal pillars so nothing changed. Restarted and nothing happened. Restarted and one ball was fired and got a zapper and that was it. B left and returned and that was it. Not very reliable on my device.
