Hazard Cabin

B and R got lost in the hills at their cabin when attempting to patch a hole in the roof. Anyways, B is pretty much convinced he has this handled. R is uncomfortable with the number of places he can get stuck at. **tricks involved**

This level is starting out bad for me, so I wonder about the rest . The 1st ball has 4 different ways that it can fall (slider position) so I've done the 1st two and I was wrong or the ball didn't fall in the right place. Trying to get the next two is almost impossible as B keeps missing the landing on the wedge and another restart. I've restarted well over 20 times and still haven't got the ball down right.

@Makl - I used Mekostudio to place B on the wedge as B failed over and over - that move isn't stable for me and it didn't need to be so hard/annoying. I can see a lot of the game plat after that but wasn't seeing how to get R down on the corner where the 2 stone pillars are so decided to check the video but your video is corrupted.

EDIT - I found a stable way to get B down on the wedge - it was by fluke that I found it. I also see how to get R in the corner. Moving on.

I'm not going to rate as I used MekoStudio to step thru the level as you didn't provide too many recovery points. Was there really a need to place R traps in this complex level? I got caught in two. B's momentum move to get back after B's first ball, B landed on the white space - a fence would have helped. The ball on the rail didn't fall, it hung on and wouldn't fall - another restart so close to the end but MekoStudio helped. Now that I've completed the level I can see the potential but the fun was lost while I was playing and needed the help of MekoStudio. I may play it again later, all in one pass without MekoStudio.

Just to let you know I did retry from the start but I'm now done with it. The R auto pilot move where you slide the slider as R walks onto it and R falls is one of those moves that I'm no good at. I can do it if R is coming down stairs better than on a flat surface. When I did get something to happen, it was magnetism and R ended up on the stairs that leads to the trap. B fell off onto the white surface after dropping the 1st ball, first attempt was too short so B walked off the wedge, the 2nd too hard and I'm done. I tried to give you a rating but too frustrating.

Oh dang I need to reupload the video. That would have been a big help...
@Meko Guy I see so many levels with r traps and I wanted to be a little feisty....

@Makl - R traps can have a purpose but if the 1st part is hard to achieve, each restart takes a toll. I like using traps to tell the player, don't send R down here or you need to protect from sending R this way. Kind of like using a zapper to keep B away. I don't put zappers to see if you can get B past it but to keep B out.

There were ways to mitigate every trap very consistently in my experience. I spent quite some time ironing this out.
Its undeniably difficult to get the timing on a couple of parts but they dont have any negative outcomes if done the correct way.

Also this just popped into my head again but you play on a computer, which does make the gameplay experience pretty different...

@Makl - Thanks for the video. I wasn't doing it as you intended. Similar...

After the 1st ball, B ran around to drop B's ball. B came back and I did the B toss (step off the lift and hit B with the lift - I thought this was your momentum move), B can land on the wedge or on the right spot or also on the white space which happened the most. My B and R didn't help each other to get R down but I was using the slider to just drop R - works for others and me I'm just not good at it. The rest was the same.

overlooked this level but glad i found it as was superb apart from the fact that the ball on the rail stuck for me once also. My win was very similar but I didn’t use R to get B back at the 90 sec into video. I had earlier tried pushing B onto R but presumably that move always tips B off on the ball/overhanging step section.. Only tried once. Surprised that the fancy autopilot to get B onto R near the end works so well. Two out of two successes.

@delator77 @Źàiď thanks for the positive feedback. Glad you both enjoyed. :)

@ridgerunner yeah I had that problem once with the ball on the rail. It was very uncommon though. What did you do with B at that point?

I think I may have posted this when a lot of other people were posting levels and it just got buried.

**edit** are you referring to the timed autopilot prior to knocking down the ball on the rail?
