Sacred places

Thanks to XSHY for finding a trick to jump using only one block, so I have this level. Trying to make it logical, but obviously failed (laughs). The clearance process is quite interesting. Red brick is a hint. (One block jump, need to tap the red bricks many times when the metal moves down)

Nice level but I can't get B to fly at the end - I either get a cancel tap or B gets on the brick - no hover mode for me. What am I doing wrong?

Suspect i have another shortcut win as i didnt use the B,ball, water, wedge climb.
    • ridgerunner
Oh i see what to do at the top of the climb now but the bit that appears makes the finish more difficult. I didn’t manage it in a few attempts and gave up as i had already won.

@ridgerunner - what makes you believe that this level deserves 4-stars? I'm not saying you're wrong, just that you left no comment describing the merits of the level. On the contrary, I'm confused whether there is a good design here.
    • Meko Guy
@nGord - I don't rate based on design - game play is more important. With that said, a well designed level can make the game play better.
    • Meko Guy
@ridgerunner - Were you able to get the last move (hover) to work or am I looking at it wrong?
    • ridgerunner
@Meko Guy .. no i quickly gave up on the presumed final designed move. My shortcut win was a simple late autopilot.
    • ridgerunner
@nGord The 4* was for my shortcut win. Having won i am entitled to make a rating. If i later found the designed win was a lot better then i would revise my rating upwards.. I think i have found the designed finish but it doesn’t seem to work. I may have to revise my rating downwards.
    • Meko Guy
@935 - I can see how the move should work but I can't get B from the last ball drop (auto pilot on the ball) do the SBS and tap thru the hole where the mechanism comes up in time - not even close. Looks like you are expecting very high precision and/or luck in order to win. Let me know, how the last move will work...
    • nGord
@Meko Guy - By "design" I mean the design of the gameplay as well as any other factor of design one chooses to consider. The more factors usually the better, but consistency is more important than breadth, IMHO. No worries as my question was addressed to @ridgerunner.
    • nGord
@ridgerunner - I don't usually read comments and some people write much less than you, often with the non-descript "nice level" comment. Again, I wasn't questioning your rating, I was just more confused by your rating comment than having an understanding of what led you to such a rating (so early on before knowing yourself what the intended solution was). Also in our conversation, no worries, I'll see myself out.

      this map include most tricks
      and good logic aspect.
my most favorite part is the wedge claustro.

too bad, i cant finish this map,
coz the ground is not enough for B to stand for extending B's steps to trigger the momentum autopilot jump at final move.

maybe u can add one or two blocks behind the black pole autoslider.
    • 935
@Meko Guy @Ray Aznable The trick is to tap the red bricks many times when the metal moves down, it can make B stay on the metal.
    • ridgerunner
@935 ..tap many times... I did get this to work but i think it is an unsatisfactory finish. A two width metal slider would have given more time to get the hover. In my opinion my shortcut late autopilot without the mechanism raised is a lot easier and the flip over the top just as satisfying. But unfortunately that doesn’t need the clever wedge climb. So promising but flawed. Keep being ambitious though.

@ridgerunnerThanks~But I create this level because my friend XSHY find this trick that can jump with one width metal. The whole level is service for this trick.
