EDIT - I can get onto the 3 draggable lift and push the mechanism up and down but can't see how to drop the other mechanism?

use autopilot, drag slider up then use B to pull down mech. (It might take a few tries.) You're trying to get the barbell down. Hope that helps

@Shroomir - Did that and had some good rhythm too.

Just to clarify. Squeeze B to the surface, auto pilot up on lift, go to 3 draggable lift and raise. B will move the mech downward and the mech will swing back upward and is always at least 1 block away from barbell.

if you get B to almost go on top but pull the slider slightly downward he'll have enough weight to pull down. I just did it on the uploaded version so it should work for you.

With B on the 3 draggable lift, raise the lift and mech at the barbell end goes down and bottoms out. Lowering the lift, the mech slowly swings back but doesn't hit the barbell. Is this correct.

Thanks for the hints but I was on the wrong lift. That move was hard to achieve. I tried many times and then the barbell moved slightly. I persisted and the rest was easy. Tough move. Thanks
