Watch Your Step

Fairly easy, if you remember that B refuses to walk diagonally!

'Red Herring' Central - I seen the spinning zapper thing and said - 'Not another one'. Pretty easy but not a cake walk. The long sliders are a little boring waiting for them. Thanks

Fish were unintentional...inspiration came but not brilliance! Thanks for the terrific rating, I guess it was for overall presentation? I know the zapper go round is old, but after studying many levels and reading interesting threads from the behaviors forum, short of outright plagiarism, for now this will do. I'm aiming for something smaller, I've noticed that most of my levels take up most if not all the usable world max. Wish me luck.

PS - ya gotta admit, this one is a darn (sic) sight better than the last one!

Thanks for taking the time to play, and the advice you always give me, GMAC. It is sincerely appreciated, and I do keep it in mind when designing my levels. I think a smaller playing field will help me move away from my seeming love for my rotating nightmares!

Red Herring means that there were things that you didn't have to use to beat the level.

I did indeed skip most of the ground floor and one of the rotating arms on the side of the level. This level is really just an avoid-the-zappers level that is pretty easy to beat.

Yup, the intended path ended up as exactly that. I tried other paths but B couldn't get farther than 2 steps. I'm working to improve my levels but it takes time! Thanks for playing it, and for the nice rating. I'll be posting more as my skill and imagination improve. I got to the point where I was trying too hard, and it wasn't as fun. So I decided to collect advice and be sure that its enjoyable, worthwhile, and hits that tricky level of difficulty that good levels reach.

It initially looked a good deal more intimidating than it was. As @gmacpro said, a lot of red herring...which I actually quite like as they make things a bit more interesting since you have to figure those into your thought process as well, deciding what you can ignore vs what you have to pay attention to.

Yeah, this level was more appearance than play. I definitely put the cart before the horse here. Thanks for slogging through my levels, Lianne. So far, it's taken me two days to stay caught up with you!

Thanks for the 4, I expect it's for the layout!

      | It's a colossal level but the gameplay was brief. I also noticed some nice designs on the floor and walls. Well done.
