Assassino

16th century Milan is ruled by the Rabotini family. Their reign must stop. Can the best assassin Baldassario kill the head of the family? He is heavily guarded, so sneak past some guards, and kill others silently.

Well you got me as that wasn't intuitive at all. I got the 5 balls (even though I seen no point for the one to drop in the sand landing until I seen the video). After that I was stuck due to the hidden passages and the big AP move. I had fun playing it but no win here.

@gmacpro Thanks for your feedback. I think to most the rotor is a clear indication that B has to fall from the tower at some point.

The whole thing around the ball in the sand is something that I have purposefully made challanging and rewarding (I hope). Sadly, that kind of also means not intuitive. All parts of the move are in plain sight. But it's not obvious straight away how they interact and which elements are actually part of it. I do believe the following are hints:
      • The rotor in that far-away upper corner.
      • The ropes/rails from one building to the other.
      • R walking along the other building to the bridge.
      • The 2-tile lift in the start building. (typical autopilot lift).
      • Trying, and seeing B drop to the streets. This allows easy retries. It should make you think about the autopilot path, and so the ball and required position of the R at the start building.
The point I'm trying to make is, that I did my best to provide clues for an otherwise concealed and hopefully challenging and rewarding move. To bad it turned the other way for you.

Btw, there are 6 balls actually. :sneaky: There's one that is pushed by the ball that makes the tower accessible. That one makes the street entry into that building inaccessible.

@gmacpro Yes I did play it. Actually that one was not intuitive to me. :D I cheated myself into a solution and watched the movie. After that I just couldn't make up my mind about the level.

Took a while to workout the gameplay, then realised the significance of the rotatable-easy peasy i thought but I can't work out the correct autopilot and finally conceded defeat and looked at the video-but that didnt help either, altho it was nice to see i had rest of gameplay correct.

I said i had given up but tried again.. i realised my mistake; was tapping right square and had R in correct place , but i had B starting one square away-wouldn't have thought it would make that much difference!

@ridgerunner Yes it matters. Not sure why either, but I think it has to do with B's time lag relative to his planned path. Sliding the lift up takes time, and it seems that if you start on the draggable tile, he already wants to walk to the 2nd tile away from the left when the lift is up. So, then he skips the tile that lets him walk around the corner. And then he kind of bumps into the wall inside the building, rather than walking out to the corner. I've added the second tile to the lift as I encountered this during creation.

@Block builder ..Thanks for the excellent explanation ; builder's insight. I think this info should help me in some future levels.

Wow !!! Spectacular tricky/logic level that also has a very worked and exquisite design !! Buff, I recognize that I spent a couple of days without being able to "decipher" the last step:confused: (curiously one of my favorites:oops:) and I've been tempted to watch the video .... but in the end I got it:D (in fact it's a difficult step but intuitive) ..... in short, another great challenge !!!:sneaky: Thanks for sharing and excellent job @Block builder ;)
