Desert Hills 2

Following an ancient faded map, our intrepid traveler comes within sight of his second destination, a sandy hilltop across the river. But the current is too strong, and the bridge has crumbled long ago... perhaps the lonely hermit might be persuaded to help?

A bit sneakier than your usual level but enjoyable exploring the options.

What is the intended way to return after pushing the last ball?
      Qudion likes this.

@Qudion I noticed that too, but I found it really hard to break it on purpose.

You're supposed to ride the hermit's head to return to the rest of the puzzle.
Did you find an alternate solution?

Hmm I missed that option somehow for that part. Weird. Fun level.
What I did find frustrating is that in that second ride on pillar R, you have a very narrow time window to step on him, as he walks by rather than turn on a spot. Moreover, if B misses R he then falls off the level.

Btw, the other solution was out dear friend ToA (tripping on air = falling of a cliff).
    • Star Penguin
Hmm, he never fell out of the level for me, even though I missed his head several times on my first go. Sorry, perhaps I should have added stairs to save you the frustration.

I had a pleasure to play this level. The logic and movements in the level resolution are great. Thanks!

Stuck. Not sure if the balls are working as they should ... but I suspect it's down to "poor piloting" by yours truly. Any further hints would be welcome, Thanks:unsure:

This level does have occasional problems with the ball spacer mechanism. I made it before I had better optimized the mechanism.
You do have to ride pillarR to access part of the level. Also there is one ball tucked away hidden in a corner... Have you found that one yet? ;)

Another great level, although the ball closest to B (at the start) failed to trigger the mechanism about 50% of the time. But everything else worked great. Love these levels!

I am coming to this very late, since I am visiting some back levels of some better accepted designers. After dropping the last ball to construct the final bridge, I found myself stranded on the platform. I tried many ways of getting down, since I couldn't find a reliable way to get P to help me. I finally resorted to
Boogie Bot to drop myself where I could get around enough to proceed back to the winning bridge.
I think a solid hint is necessary here if this is unexpected.
