@MekaSage Yes, yes, that's exactly what I meant! That's right, you understood me correctly. Yes, I, like you, immediately thought about "squeezing" the slider to the side. But I know that it is very unstable and very noisy. Noise is not a problem, but stability is very important for the level. That's why as a demo - it's very cool!! But I can't use such an offset for the level. I need to look for another more stable way, or most likely there is none (unfortunately).
Thank you very much for the demo my friend!!! It may not be stable, but you proved that it is possible!;)

I finally finished your level. I like that it was easy to see how to take each star, but figuring out how to get to that end state took a while.

Regarding the vertical sliders, stability is definitely a challenge. That demo was actually significantly more stable than all the other configurations I tried, and even then it still isn't very stable.

@MekaSage the demo works but often the top sliders won't go into the bottom ones (which oddly are rising up at one end (and rattling constantly)). Then when they do merge it's never fully or smoothly. I did manage to get R to go onto the FD but then I had to lift the sliders up before he would entertain the steps. Then I just managed to lower the sliders enough for R to get the star.

@MekaSage My friend, I understood what the mistake was!! In your demo you made vertical sliders in the wrong direction!!

This is very important. I also did something similar to you in the wrong direction after your demo:rotf: I finally understood the mistake. And now I can say with absolute certainty that it is POSSIBLE! I made a demo of vertical sliders passing through each other. And I found an absolutely stable way to move the sliders to the side WITHOUT NOISE!!

By the way, on such combined vertical sliders you can make B dance:rotf::rotf:
    • MekaSage
@Denis Nazin - The dancing is funny . That's a clever way to move the sliders sideways. Nice work!

@MekaSage Thank you SO MUCH my friend ;).
The most important thing is that we have proven that it is possible and even possible to make it absolutely stable. I am very glad that you liked it my friend! I really love when we explore the physics of mekorama. Any progress in this area brings great pleasure:D:thumbsup:
