Hi Denis, can you explain this effect? Spoiler: Video short https://youtube.com/shorts/u6ivrqFXR9I?feature=shared
@Chris Hester In order to explain this effect you need to know what principle of the mechanism of balloons. I specially made an open demo version for you and everyone interested: Now that you've seen the principle of operation - you know that it's based on a BOT! The bot pushes off a free object with its feet - that's why the balloon flies up. When you remove the object from under the bot's feet - the balloon falls. Now about the effect that you captured on video: When you remove an object (a ball or a motor with cylinders) from under the bot's feet, the last thing the bot feels under its feet is a needle made of rails!!! Accordingly, the effect occurs - "freezing of the slider" !! And this effect remains until the bot feels something else under its feet. In the design with the ball - freezing PASSES !! Because there is only one empty cell under the bot's feet - that's why the bot feels the block below with its feet! But in the design with the motor there are two empty cells under the bot - that's why freezing is not lost !! And that's why when you move the needle from the rails - the bot still feels the connection with this needle (slider freeze effect). And that's why it remotely reacts to the movement of the slider needle. This is a complex effect, to understand it you need to know the physics of mekorama very well. But I hope I explained it clearly! Here is a link to another level where this effect is very clearly visible and it is demonstrated in all three planes: http://mekoramaforum.com/media/fantastic-slider.24686/ You don't have to play. You can just watch the video walkthrough - the video shows it very well : I made another demo video especially for you! I hope now you will understand everything for sure:
The timing reminds me of some parlour games you play during parties. I enjoyed this level’s unique timing mechanic with the balloon pop—it’s a creative and fun challenge ! Plus, this level is only appropriate for such a milestone. Great work! You inspire the community.
@cloe Oh thank you very VERY VERY much my new meko friend I'm very happy that you liked And thank you very much for your wonderful review! I am very pleased!!
@Denis Nazin fascinating! What I don't get is why it only affects the first slider (pin) in my video. Don't the other balloons also use bots? In which case each of the pins should move the balloons remotely, no? Yet the effect only works for the one nearest the camera. As you can see I tried to capture the star with B when the balloon broke free of the ring on the floor, but the balloon jumped back into the air and fell down. Plus the stars are under the floor so B cannot reach them!
Congratulations on your 600th level! Another visually stunning presentation with well thought out gameplay. Вітаємо з 600-м рівнем! Ще одна візуально приголомшлива презентація з добре продуманим геймплеєм.
@97 NinetySeven Oh thank you SO MUCH my friend I am really very pleased to receive congratulations from you!
@Denis Nazin Congrats on your 600th level! Spoiler: How i did solve it I did like the vid except I: 1. I started by getting the stars that are on top, the on in the second floor (the one to the left) and the third floor one also to the left (it follows the popper wherever its pushed). 2. I also pushed the balls at the first floor on the left & right, popping the left & right balloon. They both got the balloon. Then went for the middle one. Thx!
