Nice trial and error level !
At first I thought that

a ball from the tower was to push B on ground floor

… but I was wrong !

Very satisfying when it looks confusing at first. My gameplay was the same. My B was reluctant to get wet and kept trying to hang on to the draggable!

I once went out of the castle, I thought this was it, but when I went further I found out that the way was closed, because of Jay, I had to play FIR again, everyone is inside the secret castle.

Regarding B falling into the water - yes, you are right. The thing is that B can be affected by slider freeze and therefore he can return to the cubic block (although logically he should fall). This is just a very good visual example of how tricks and effects sometimes interfere with the pure logic of mekorama. Another bright example is the low ceiling! It is also often a negative factor and interferes with level builders.
I had to move the whole level up one floor and add the architecture below and the door drop mechanism, just because of the negative impact of the low ceiling. The low ceiling really does get in the way when building levels.
