Slider lock

No TRICKS! L - level. Used "slider lock"

No TRICKS! L - level. Used "slider lock":
Rotate the lever 45 degrees and the autoslider will be locked. Return the lever and the slider will work again.
It is very easy to understand and build - if you know the REAL physical form of the "slider" and "rail". Unfortunately, the visible form of these objects is very different from the actual physical form.
Slider is NOT a CIRCLE! A slider is two parallel plates, the width of each plate is 1/4 of a block.
A rail is NOT a THIN CYLINDER! The rail is a square stick 1/2 block wide, located in the center. Therefore, the empty spaces on four sides on each side of the rail are 1/4 of a block

Please excuse the noise and possible instability of the mechanism!

Time 4:08 (The level turned out to be longer than my usual levels because L walks slowly:rotf:;))

This is a game changer for designers. Wonderful.

Loved the idea but it was awkward in practice. L went walkabout several times from the lower autoslider which also proved difficult to lock exactly in the correct spot with a risk of jamming and restarting.

I did not have problems stopping the mechanism & carrying L... great symmetrical design too... спасибо @Denis Nazin :)

@delator77 I'm very glad that you didn't have any problems with the mechanism! I'm very glad you liked it, thank you SO MUCH!:D

@ridgerunner Thank you very much! Sorry for the inconvenience! Yes, sometimes this happens - the slider gets stuck. Sorry, I forgot to write in the first comment:
If the slider is stuck, DO NOT RESTART THE LEVEL! You need to turn the lever back and forth several times and the slider will definitely unlock! Sorry, I forgot to write about this. I'm glad you completed the level despite the problems, thank you;)

Minus a star because it was a bit repetitive. But I'll add that star back up there because of the original idea and clean logical implementation.

This is excellent. You nailed it again. :)

I've been sat playing with slider blocks for weeks now in my build area, but didn't know about the 45degree lock

Really enjoyed this one, and actually got it on the very first try as it was a relaxing Tempo and unstressful so I could think properly! Really love the layout of the cabins too! Thank you for a wonderful challenge:thumbsup:
