The mechanism is very interesting, I like its use in the gameplay. But, players almost never use such mechanisms at levels due to their instability.
When you move the motor, the slider is deformed and bends incorrectly. This makes its position in the grid incorrect! Because of this, your mechanism is very stuck in the front wedges! It is very uncomfortable. I would recommend that you remove the front wedges - where the slider is clamped. In other places the slider moves well
