Crash Course 1.3

I had previously held this back as ridiculously non-intuitive, but I'm confident the more advanced members will solve it quickly. i think the shortest possible win requires only seven touches without a free camera.

      Ta-daaa! :D
      So! Inanimate objects are not so inanimate!?
      :p
      Groundbreaking! Extra stars for innovation - well done!

      @trids -
      I like that it's not flashy in operation. Simplicity is its own reward.[/spoile]

      But why use the very same name for several different puzzles?

      Are you trying to confuse me?

      +1. Why using the same name? I thought it was a reupload. :confused:

      Hi!!!I am from the Basque Country,in Spain and my english is poor...I already passed more than 500 levels and I passed the two previous versions☺☺☺but I cant with this...can anybody help me???I dont understand the cryptic spoiler of trids....Sorry if my english is not good

      @delator77 - Here's a less cryptic spoiler.

      Slide your fingertip along the slanted roof (possibly rasier on the side without the chimney) and wait to see if anything happens... or stops happening....

      After that, it's just a matter of timing! Good luck!

      It turns out that draggable blocks can sense taps, and tap-drags in particular, even through other elements. This creates the illusion that an inanimate object can respond to a stimulus. In fact, you just need to know where the draggable is and tap-drag as if you can see it.

      In this case, the hidden draggable is connected to the metal blocks that the zapper is patrolling. And so the delay exploit is triggered on the zapper bot when you tap-drag the connected (and hidden) draggable.

      @trids (and other interested parties)...

      But is it an exploit?

      The stickiness of draggables, including the delay of R bots, can be seen as far back as original levels number 17, Bot Bypass. It's a built-in behavior which keeps both B and R from falling off a moving draggable.

      I do feel it might be mildly unfair to use a hidden element. In light of having posted two other levels which are blatantly explicative of the behavior, I figured the information is now out there though....

      I'm not one of those who attach a stigma to the term "exploit", so you might be asking the wrong person.
      :p
      But it is a nice portmanteau word that conveys the idea of extracting the utility of a certain effect, perhaps in an unconventional way.

      As for fairness, you're probably right... until it becomes common knowledge and maybe is accompanied by some sort of disclosure (implicit / explicit). I mean, many of the commonplace features we know and love today we're once reviled for being unfair and breaking "rules" that were self imposed by people who simply didn't see the big picture, or who didn't understand "scary" new things.

      So.. Give it time. And, after a tutorial or two and some fair disclosure, you may soon see it appearing all over the place.
      :)

      At first I thought I had to be extremely fast or to play "chest" with B. It took me an entire day to figure out how to win level. Very obscure secret.
