Dis Orient

Bob is trapped in an almost zero gravity sphere, floating among the stars. Hoping someone will spin him out of trouble.

Super!! I really love this design! I like mechanics. And original gameplay! The first asterisks are easy to take, but the last one is more difficult!)).
Thank you for this miracle of architectural thought!

The design is very impressive, but the resulting game play is too random to be really engaging.
    • IceBlade
Thanks @Don G Rowe and @Denis Nazin for your comments. Thanks @cimarronline for the "like." It's supposed to make you work for it, and after a while it's quite disorienting, since I deliberately gave no other reference points. I only wish we could have a starry background. I found it interesting and frustrating once I sort of lost perspective. Anyway, thanks for playing. I hope you managed to help Bob get the stars.

@Denis Nazin I especially appreciate your comments, since I really admire your architecture.

The funny thing is that a week ago I did an interesting thing, the design is very similar to yours))).
But I didn't know how and where to apply it.
You have applied the gameplay perfectly. The orientation is really lost during the game. Saves the shadow on the floor!
Here is my design (this is just a sketch) -

      Skillful and Impressive mechanism!
Glad, It doesn't need a restart.

      Gameplay was kind of random.
But once you are aware of the know-how of the working with the mechanism, you reduces the random play but moves were same, scroll and scroll.

Additionally, The game was quite hard to track the Stars as well B.

Overall, Level was satisfying, especially practicing that mechanism.

      Good one!

Great level with an interesting idea. Seems like there is really zero gravity in the sphere as B location are hard to track. Maybe a ball will be easier but it'll take out much fun?
    • IceBlade
@Pratik Bhalerao thanks. I appreciate the comments. I personally found it also had that zeroG feel because once you change camera angle you never really know where you are. Thanks again.

@delator77 thanks for stopping by and thanks for the encouragement.

@Denis Nazin thanks. Yeah. Once I made the mechanism and created the outer level i wasn't sure either for a few days. I played with the idea of making Bob have to stay on the walkways but he kept falling off. Once I'd made the stars a knew I had to keep him in somehow and hoped it wouldn't be too simple. The disorientation added enough gameplay to make it interesting and after a while I was mesmerised because I couldn't figure out which way was up. That's how it got it's name. Thanks again, and also thanks for making such inspiring levels yourself.

@mastersifu thanks for checking it out. I thought of using a ball but Bob it so much more fun with his arms and legs flailing about.

@IceBlade Agree. B is much more enjoyable and as I said, a ball will take out much fun. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting concept. Reminded me of a hamster in a rolling ball!:p
