Through Slider

NO TRICKS !! In this post I want to post a jigsaw puzzle in which I use an interesting mekorama effect - RAIL THROUGH SLIDER. For those who are interested, I will add a demo with my research in the comments.

      NO TRICKS !!
In this post I want to post a jigsaw puzzle in which I use an interesting mekorama effect - RAIL THROUGH SLIDER. For those who are interested, I will add a demo with my research in the comments.
This puzzle is non-standard, it is unusual for the player to combine the RAIL with the SLIDER. That's why I made a small puzzle on purpose!
      Please watch the demo !!

There is an interesting fact on the demo - B cannot step on the right slider! ??. But B easily goes to the left slider
    • Denis Nazin
I really want this publication to be informational !! Therefore, I additionally post two demos - which show interesting studies of this effect. To make it easier for players to use this on their levels!

The rail can go through several sliders in a row !!
(Interesting fact!! if the movable slider is placed on the left and not on the right, then B will not be able to step on any of the sliders !!!)

In this demo, I showed sliders that are transmitted in different planes. The rail on the slider that moves up and down DOES NOT PASS through the static slider.

In order not to take up a lot of space in the comments feed, I put all my demos in the spoiler:

I like the logic behind and I could see some potential moves based on the mechanism drop so thanks for this inspirational move. Nice puzzle and I didn't know why that happens in your first video demo. I don't think the position of slider really affects it.

Yes, this has been used in levels before. It works with a curved rail also.

@Denis Nazin - Nice level - the start (pushing the two piece mechanism into place) didn't seem to fit with the concept but that's just me. The main portion of the level was basically a 3D traffic puzzle but I liked that if one fell by mistake, one could carry on albeit nearly from the start. Upon watching the video, I did it slightly different as the stairs from one slider aligned with the other at 90 degrees.

Thank you so much my dear friend! I'm happy that you liked the logic of the level, and my move was inspiring for you!). You are a great specialist in moves, so it's especially nice to hear from you!

Regarding the demo, and the obstruction of the slider. We talked about this with @Labyrenight. He made me some great demos !!!!! If you are interested, check out the spoiler with demo cards! We want to make a separate conversation on this topic. If you want, you can join us in conversation and research. I am very grateful for the @Labyrenight demo card !!! I want players to see them! Here's the spoiler:

As always, I am very grateful to you for the information! If you remember the levels and give links, I will be very grateful to you!
As for the crooked rails - I already know about it. But still I am very grateful to you !!!
I accidentally discovered this when I was building my level "Tiger" (He is already ready, I want to publish it at level 100). And after that, I began to investigate this phenomenon. With straight rails it looks more impressive))). And more practical. But on the "Tiger" level, I used some curved rails;).

Thank you so much for your feedback! I am glad that you are interested in my level and that you like it. It's especially nice to receive feedback from an experienced player like you !! thanks

As I did not read your comment my first win was with B using happily autopilot... then I played again & found the intended solution... obviously without tricks this level deserves 5 stars... спасибо @Denis Nazin ;)

      @cimarronline
Many thanks. I also remembered a level with a similar platform of relays and sliders passing through them.

But at both of these levels, the slider is not controllable, without FD. And they are not used as puzzle pieces. We are currently researching the passability and impassability of a slider with a rail. Very interesting levels can be built on this. @Mr Lemon is already designing a level that has a one-way walkthrough. That is, you can go in one direction, but not in the other. In my demo 3, you also can't go back without a trick. It is very interesting and useful for building levels.

Many, many thanks to you !! I'm wondering where did you use the autopilot? I suspect somewhere on a slider-puzzle?
But I am very glad that you went the right way. I am happy that you liked it! I try to alternate between trick levels and trick-free levels. This is a purely geometric logic level with no gimmicks. I'm glad you liked the clean logical path.:D;)

Thanks! It is a special pleasure for me to receive a high rating from you and a pleasant review! Thank you my friend. Wish you saw the Loch Ness Monster!:D I saw your comment on the Loch Ness level.
Greetings to Scotland. A country with very beautiful nature;)
