More Clean Logic

A no trick level - R will need to miss B and fall to get down.

More Clean Logic

      @Ray Aznable - Having R walk onto B isn't a trick but having B walk with R above can be considered a trick. In the older versions, it was a trick but in 1.3, the task is more stable but not stable enough for me to use in any level - trick level or not.

      EDIT - I really don't like that Martin and Per, programmed that R is more stable on B now. In v.1 and .2, that move could work for one step max but now it's even harder to keep a level as clean and tidy as possible. Between blocking for ToA, all the momentum moves, the bot bumps/tosses and now R on B, the levels are getting too busy...

      @ridgerunner - No red herrings, the lift in the corner was a recovery point for R. If R got the stair ball at the bottom of the lift, R was stuck. B could herd back into the game with the lift. Thanks for P, C and R.

      I had to resort to the video for some of the first moves (stopping the ball on the fence, the ball bouncing over B), but after that everything was easy enough - as you said, clean logic. The herding was actually fairly easy. Definitely liked the dual-use lift... that part certainly got a workout. It's just part of the fuzzy tapping, I guess, but depending on what angle you have the level on, that particular lift sticks.

      @Meko Guy Not just a recovery point, that lift and the opposite one give the level a little bit of symmetry. :D

      @Meko Guy Seriously? R on B is now stable? Darn, that changes a few old levels where you got R to fall by moving B after R had mounted.

      @D.S.Masters - It doesn't stick in V1.3.1 - maybe it's time to upgrade - :rotf:. V1.4 should be out soon. Thanks for P, C and R.

      Yes - B can easily take multiple steps with R above and can even go around corners and R doesn't fall but R may not be stable enough to get off. :confused:

      @Meko Guy What the heck else are they going to ruin? Excuse me, change? Oy!

      Played through it again (this one has some replay interest), with a couple of problems that didn't show up the first time. 1: the ball on the fence rolled when R crossed, dropping him, restart. 2: Getting the ball on the fence to its destination, it rolled to one side, restart.
      The 'hardest' part of the level is that B needs to move very quickly to block that first ball, but it doesn't require desperate tapping, either. Yes, there is some shoulder rubbing when trying to get B on the first draggable, but it's survivable.
      Cute trap, or maybe just a longer alternative - the lift in the corner that R uses to get down to the bottom area... if you have R hit that ball at the bottom of that lift, he gets stuck - or maybe B can herd him to the recovery lift? Either way, B hitting that ball is much easier, though oddly enough, because of the way it's set up with the rail and stairs, it looks like something that R should hit, not B.

      @D.S.Masters - The ball on the fence can spin but while B is standing there, dragging the draggable will change the ball's spin. B can just wait before going to get R. The race to hold the ball on the fence can be done easier with less forward force to drop the ball. If the ball missed the wedges then it was hit from the side - either way, the level has just begun so you don't have to repeat much to get back to that point. The stair ball was a trap as most players will think R needs to get it but B can too. There was a recovery if R got it but because of your error, you had to herd R back to the top via the lift in the starting corner.

      @Meko Guy I found that the easiest way to move that fence ball was to drag that lift - not up or down, but toward the ball... that imparts the right spin on it.
