In the Mood

Yeah, I like Big Band and some swing music - Glenn Miller, the Andrews Sisters, Artie Shaw and whomever else... mainly because my parents used to listen to it, and the local movie theater (a small family-owned thing, not a chain) would play it before the movie started.
"In the Mood" is a song from trombonist Glenn Miller, recorded in August of 1939, and released two weeks after WWII began. I swear, if they had electric guitars back then, this would be a rock 'n roll song.

Spoiler: Music trivia alert

The trombone is one of the only remaining "natural" instrument. In that that the player uses overtones of the fundamental produced by the length of the tube to play different notes (overtones, in ascending order, from a length of tube (or string) giving a C fundamental: C, C, G, C E, G, Bflat, C, D, E Fsharp, G,...) The trombonist changes the length of the tube to get different fundamentals and sets of overtones.
All brass instruments were "natural" originally, until some genius put in pistons (which change the tube length without you getting a sore shoulder).
Note that, that chain of overtones are all present in all music sounds, but in different mixes which makes the sound of different instruments different. That and the attack.

tunnel under b's starting point? I can't remember if I went into the tunnel when I beat the game or if it had a purpose.

I think the level could have had a little extra oomf, an extra puzzle element or trick or something, which would have made it five stars for me.
