Quick sliders? How? o_O The most difficult thing in this level is to make B not fall in a gap. The logic is clean and fun. Lots of path reuse. Well done.

Interesting effect of double sliders but the second activation was slow for me. I need to wait around 1 min before it moves. Fun simple gameplay.:rolleyes:

Please explain how the sliders don't move at first!

I kept trying but B often fell off the level. :(

Also one slider stuck halfway (when B fell into a gap). I was able to cross one way onto the grass but not back again.

I will have to keep trying.

That's an interesting effect. It's amazing that you're still finding new things in Mekorama.

It's hard to push the lowest ball. B must move back onto the slider. Alas because there is no pipe under the left side he often falls down into the water and gets stuck.

I just played again and the second slider started moving very slowly! Then it moved back and started moving quickly as expected. Weird!

It was a little difficult to navigate with the second slider. I enjoyed it.

Yours is touch-activated. Mine is sensor-activated.

I know you can create interesting levels with this effect. :yh:

Friends, I'm so sorry, I've been busy and haven't responded in a while. It takes a long time to reply to this comment with a demo! That's why I was only able to do it now. Sorry!

[IMG].The operating principle is very simple: two sliders in opposite directions are connected. Equal force and different directions result in a static position, provided there is a load of 6 or more blocks! The trick is that one slider can potentially move in both directions, but the other is in its extreme position and can only move in one direction.
Therefore, during microvibration, the slider that is in the stop (at the extreme position of the rail) wins! And the slider begins to move. To prevent this, an additional WEIGHT is needed! A weight of 6 or more blocks ensures a static initial position. A weight of 5 blocks makes the slider slowest (like on my previous level http://mekoramaforum.com/media/3-30.32831/ ).
A slider with activation can only move in two directions!!! Because the sliders' initial movements MUST be in different directions!!![IMG]

The exact same thing happens with two MOTORS moving in opposite directions attached together! Under the crucial condition that there is no gravity! That is, if one part is larger and is pulled downward, the motors will fall under the influence of gravity!

@Denis Nazin that demo was tougher than I was expecting. I can't understand why B can't move the steps from the start? o_O

The middle part was interesting: I thought B would be pushed off, but the slider stops when B runs past it after clicking on the other side.

I also stopped the slider moving at the back. But B just had to touch it again to get it moving.

There's definitely some interesting physics going on here! Thank you so much for the explanation!

@Chris Hester Let me explain, my friend:
B can't push the ladder because he's lifting it and not touching it with his TORSO!! His legs and arms (their touch) mean absolutely nothing and have no effect, because a living bot's legs and arms weigh nothing! But if the bot died, then yes, that's a good idea for a future demo!)

      Second:
Yes, absolutely right. At this level, the sliders are SAFE for the bot; they can't push it down!! Because two sliders in opposite directions lose their power. I wanted to show this in the demo, so I deliberately made the first slider very long so players could see it was safe! Thanks for playing!
