4-Cylinder

B lent you the key to his car for the holidays, but you went and flooded the engine before he even left. So he would like his key back, if you'd be so kind as to help him climb back up. You may have to coax a little life into the poor machine to do so, but do keep it under control this time...

The engine isn't in the best condition after what you did to it, so you may need to help it along every now and then and check that nothing moveable has jammed. Other than that, there shouldn't be any tricks to it.

Scanning: If you're having trouble scanning, try:

Camera: I don't think you can complete this level without the free camera. Something to note, though, is that the touch controls seem to have more authority over moveables when at the original viewing angles (i.e. 45 degrees to the grid), so you may need to change your angle if something keeps slipping out of your grasp.

Performance: I was noticing lag on my Note II and, since this is a physics-based level, any device with less power may make this level unplayable. Sorry - there's almost nothing purely aesthetic that I could remove to enhance performance.

      General Tips:
The engine does have some tools for helping to control it precisely when necessary.
One of the cylinders may need a little help getting seated properly, initially, though turning the engine over may be enough.
Sometimes a running engine will be too much for B to handle and you may need to turn it off for a moment or two.
Those brass balls are there for a reason. Seriously; you'll thank me later.

Slightly more specific hints: (in order)
To start an engine, what do you use?
      Cycle the oil...
It's a good thing B's so small - I could never get my fingers between those cylinder housings.
B: Turn it off for a moment, would ya? You don't have to, but pistons tend to give me a real headache when they hit me in the... er... head.
If it didn't happen automatically when you passed it, make should to keep/bang your eye on the ball. It's for your own good, honest. You may need it later.
Hey B! I didn't know you could walk on a crankshaft! You can't? Oh. Maybe if it weren't spinning so fast?
That caliper may help straighten things out.
      Oo - another ball!
If I could just reach that last cylinder block.
Location, location, location. Timing, timing, timing. Here it comessss...
B: I'll just have a look inside the air filter and check you haven't wrecked that, too.
Oh look, there's a spoke missing. I hope the insurance covers something so small.

Wow! Excellent designed and the mechanics are very good.

This was amazing. One of the best levels I ever played

I am confused... so many moving parts... I couldn't solve it by now... :/
    • MInvertedM
@dnb Thanks, but please don't rate levels until you have finished them.

In the mean time, I will update the first comment (above) with some hints to help you along.

Great, great, great!!!Amazing engineering construction and without tricks, just pure physics...Brilliant job!! I still clapping my hands:):D

Wow! Although the mechanisms stop frequently the level is amazing. It is incredible the engineering it has... Great level, thanks!

Wow! Can't imagine how long it would take to build this. (Gave you 5 stars, by the way. The rating didn't end up paired with the comment though.)

What an amazing mechanism! And you managed to build a nice puzzle around it. The balls were really appreciated.

Btw, great level of engine resemblance, with the filter, oil tip, crank shaft, etc.

Wow, obstacle course with amazing designs. But it is harsh if falling out of the level at the ground floor pillar part just by B's accident.
    • MInvertedM
@TR O Thanks! Yeah, I know it's a bit harsh, so that's why I put in the balls.
Each ball you knock over opens a shortcut back to that point in case you fall off. I know that doesn't really help for the earlier stages, though, but that's part of the challenge.

You're on the Facebook main page, well deserved!
