I was trying to make it with a big design, but when I play the sensor is normal, and when I send it to people / share, the sensor doesn't work, why is that? Could you please explain?

Hello. This mechanism is very complex. Much influences its functioning. Metal blocks, bots, height and position level. Each block added has to close the level and open to test its behavior.

    It's too frustrating:mad:

Just as a reference, IDK 20200621_154743.png if the sensory effects are running properly or not on your devices.

    i crack the sensor out
made tiny card demo from it

this sensor for the third time is applied
    in my ugly level

    and today
@Steven Maki invented new kind of sensor
which making R robot at frozen state initially
then B trigger it to start moving.
he applied that in this level
    [IMG]

i crack the sensor out again
    and here is the mechanism,
he prefered naming it as infrared
    [IMG]

u need to set sensor location first.
then the rest of level parts
    come after.

make sure B and R with eye
need to be out from radius of 3 blocks
    at beginning of the game
    or any moment during solving/playing,
    before finishing move,
or before we desired to start using sensor.

black squares are spots where sensor
    triggered to start working.

    found other topic thread
    which also talking about sensor
    L I N K

    ...
another kind of sensor discovered again
    this time by @Fendi Rahardian
    in his new level
    [IMG]

    i crack out the sensor
    mechanism inside the tower
    [IMG]

    thanks to @cimarronline & @EL797 for showing
    how to trigger the sensor.

@Ray Aznable The way you performed in the video didn't work for me, so I used a more risky way by doing

    after several test
me and @trids found the fact that
a sensor which invented by @Fendi Rahardian
is actually working by sensing the body of B 1595227570508.png 1595136425702.png

    @EL797
the metal block is reading's B's flat body...
try the new sensor which just shared in new post
    above...
zapping B is another easy to make B flat to metal.
    and it show dramatic ending...

Just be careful not to confuse the sensor effect with the vibration effect. I believe the video above is actually the vibration effect. Also the card, "Pressing Sensor" above, is the vibration effect.

    They're two different things:

    • The sensor effect depends on orientation etc, and is unstable at design time. It works by proximity.
    • The vibration effect is predictable at design time, and relies on touching an assembly of connected metal pieces. Touching by a bot bumping into it, maybe even a ball; or touching by the player dragging on a static draggable that is part of the assembly.

    thanks alot mr darryl @trids
    u help categorizing the sensor
    into two general category...

    in before i thought everything
    about two hollow slider
    being stacked together
    perpendicullary, are all the same.
    turns out,
    there are two significant variation:
    proximity sensor => wireless effect
vibration sensor => non wireless / wired through all metal parts.

    @Ray Aznable .. yes, that's correct. :thumbsup:

Also, the vibration effect can be accomplished in a variety of ways ..
    • player touches/drags/rattles a connected draggable.
    • bot bumps into a connected metal piece.
    • even two motors connected at 90° vibrate with no connected draggable.
    • etc.
And vibration can be used to dislodge a ball, or to move a connected win block hiding under a static block. But the degree of vibration required to trigger a connected win is greater than the vibration required to dislodge a ball. Some experimentation is required by the designer for the specific context of his puzzle.

@Ray Aznable built a sensor level and asked @Anomynous and I to test it, and the sensor didn't work for both of us (but @Ray Aznable/@trids said it should be winnable). Why? Can anyone explains?
@Ray Aznable, @trids Does the sensor work for you two?
    1595141806439.png
I suppose that B should do a BB and ToA to get to the big hole, in order to trigger the sensor. However, it did not work for @Anomynous nor I.
