I don't know if it has been shared but I just encountered something really helpful while creating a level...
    1. To achieve a dragable moving vertically without slider ...
    2. Whenever the same dragable is attached to a slider n a motor consecutively they other rely on dragable instead of working on their own but not in this orientation ..
    3. Well maybe attaching a ball to motor in front may be helpful to be used as a self rotating wheel ( maybe helpful like an automatic moving golem as made by Martin Magni )

Yes, they've been posted before, especially the ball attached to a motor. There are a lot of ways to make an independently moving mechanism; Martin's Golem was made for an unofficial challenge that he made, which is to make an independently moving mechanism without moving its leg like wheels.

This is the mechanism from my level mirror blocks! B gets zapped as long as his eye isn't placed on him. So it works only without the eye. I don't know if its good or not but i think i found it! Don't know if its already found or not!! B gets zapped when he walks on the blocks below which the zappers are placed. Screenshot_2017-09-06-18-05-50.png

Because his height doesn't increase without head
The base of his center portion is below the half block now if u look zapper is at half block height so total distance is less then 2 block hence he got shock

i think it is an new mechanism in which we can control an boat who is floating in air first use jump mechanism and then joystick and also can be used for ghost boat crossing parts second pic with r boat

This level does not require a specific explanation. Its mechanism seems to be interesting.

In my opinion , This level does require a specific explanation

@Iasccer - @hadi's "gear" demonstration shows how two gears (or pinions in this case) translate rotation force onto a rack (or linear rod with teeth) in what should have been rather called a "rack and pinion" device.

The reason this is possible in Mekorama is because the metal rod in this case is a special type of movable - one that is a collection of metal blocks not attached to any draggable or slider, but instead only attached to a motor which is not attached at its axle. We've been calling it a Free-Motor movable. Although not implemented in the original 50 levels, it was intended behaviour designed into the game by Martin as demonstrated in his level MotoGP.

Thank you for this description:). I also did not think that I could explain a few lines about it:rolleyes::eek: (I did not think it is necessary:oops:).Of course, a brief explanation is needed:sneaky:. I also created another version of this mechanism that works well with slider and draggable, but it is possible to interfere with its performance due to the presence of draggable.
I just thought that I would share this idea.:oops:

This is a conduction effect through balls which allows a bot to make a free motor fall:
    mekorama.png
The direction where the free motor falls depends on its orientation and also sometimes on the bots initial position in the level. So this requires a bit of trial and error :p. This was used in the level Dagobah.
@PvB had used a similar effect a long time ago in this level, but I didn't know it: https://mekoramaforum.com/media/crash-course.9846/
Although he didn't used the conduction of forcefield effect through independent balls, which allows more freedom.

So... going by the name, because the two metal pieces are 'connected' via the stone, hitting one conducts vibrations through the stone like a ripple effect, causing the motor to fall. You know, you folks are probably driving @Martin Magni nuts by coming up with all sorts of stuff he never envisioned when he wrote the code. :D:eek:

The conduction is done by the balls. This works without the stone blocks. There is no mechanical contact between the bot, the balls and the free motor.

Ah, okay - I didn't download it, I was just going by what I saw in the image. Yeah, balls make more sense. I presume the trial and error part is getting the motorized piece to fall the right way.

Yes I have not tried to find a rule to know in which direction the motor will fall, but it might be possible :D

Someone asked me how Across the moat was working, so here is the main mechanism. As usual with proximity sensors, initial positions of bots are very important.

So that eyeball piece is the catapault that launches B across to the final tower? That whole thing looks like dark magic... how does the draggable trigger it? Just because it slides next to the metal piece with the three balls?
