    UPDATE: The Wicket Wolfpack has submitted their moves, however, the Chernobyl Bruisers have not yet responded in the aftermath of Round 1: Training Camp. Maybe they're sore from all that working out??

    Good Game @Frenzies @davidkvis99 @Astral_Mage, and thanks @sawdust for this fun strategy game!

    I think the optimal strategy for this game is quite obvious: Train strength fully for one or two turns, and focus the enemy captain until the end (and that's what I executed). I think the defense feature should just be ignored, because the most it can do is neutralize the same amount of attack (assuming we always focus fire), and you always risk wasting your move because that person may be not attacked, so defense is less effective than attacking overall.

    I also focus on the captain instead of soldiers because the captain is overpowered. He could train twice as fast and can also attack twice a turn, making him more powerful than two soldiers. Because of that, killing an enemy soldier has only a relatively small impact on the enemy team and is not as worthy.

    I think the following changes to the rules would make the game more interesting:
    1.The captain cannot execute the same action twice per turn. (So the captain cannot attack twice per turn, but can attack and defend a soldier, for example.)
    2. Defense takes effect on every attack on the defended person. (That was my earlier perception. Just one defense could neutralize all attacks on the same person)
    3. The maximum defense is decreased from 5 to 4. (To avoid stalemate)
