Here is next:
A nice one, I'll be sure to use it at least one time in the future
And a really tiny part of Turbofan Station by F.F:
The slowly rotating platform from "Dizzy climb" level. This design seems to be the most stable (I've never seen it get jammed).
I was wondering about that.
This is the method I found using motors and balls to create a moving (or flapping) hinge.
It is created on the diagonal allowing the balls to align along an edge between the body and the wing. The motors connect to the balls and to the body and wing structure independently.
Thank you for the knowledge you share. . I'm sure there will be cool levels created because of this mechanism.
That's pretty wild! I noticed if I pick it up and shake it, a motor falls out.
The one that falls out is from the engine that allows flight, it’s still visible (partially deconstructed) in the posted pic. I removed it for the post on the flapping hinge topic (to allow viewing the hinge motion without the entire dragon flying away
Oh, now that you mention it I see it falls into place as the level first opens. Thanks for explaining, and thanks for such an interesting innovation!
This is the level in its full glory, I did Change the facial construction slightly- added eyes
Wow! This is great. What is the expanding and contracting border for?
The border was an attempt to keep “L” and “R” within a controlled area (if, as or when they drop from its claws) due to late or no player interaction as the dragon increases elevation and drifts.
“L” and “R” can claim the ground level stars while contained
I feel like @DavidR could do something pretty interesting with this idea.
