If you've created a level in Mekorama and now would like to share your level with others, please label it with a title and author. The default title is "New Level" and the default author is "Unknown Author." Both can be changed simply by tapping on each of them when viewing the full card in the the Make Levels section of the app (page 3/5). Both fields can also accept up to 16 letters, numbers, and some punctuation marks - which can be seen by clicking on the below thumbnail. Spaces, a zero, and the remainder of the alphabet are also acceptable. All other characters such as underscores, semi-colons, etc. are not.

So most creators understand this and hopefully new creators will figure it out or read this post before posting one of their levels to the forum.

The other purpose of this post is to let creators know how titles are used by users of this forum. Without an organization system in the app, most players are left with downloading levels from the forum and then using the forum's search function to go find the levels again for rating, asking questions, or commenting. Even as a creator yourself, you may want to search for your level rather than flip through pages of levels to find it.

The Levels section in this forum is supported by an add-on called the Xenforo Media Gallery. This gallery is based on a MySQL database. What this means to us is that the search feature is limited by the search capabilities of MySQL. In other words, searches for common words such as "what" and "down," any words three letters or shorter, or any numbers are not supported. If anyone tries to search on these terms they will end up receiving an error message:
Thus, in order to make the best title, it is highly recommended that creators include a unique four or more letter word in their title that could be searched by. At the very least, please make the upload title the exact same as on the card so that players can know which card is which.

Although I regret that I am repeating some of what was already documented in the How to Share a Mekorama Level guide, I'm hoping that new members find this thread more accessible. This second part will address what to do if you find that you've messed up and not made the title of the upload match the card.

Fixing the upload title (and/or description) is easy! Simply go to the upload page and above the card you'll see both a pencil icon and a dedicated button that reads "Edit Media." Clicking on either brings you to the Edit Media page just like in the last stage of the upload process. Here's an example picture of this page (click to enlarge):

As you can see, there are two fields - one for each of the title and the description that can be edited after the fact (but preferably during the upload process) and then saved using the Save Media button. Easy, right?
