I found in Mekorama you can only go up steps but not down them if you are far away from the play area. The player can walk anywhere on the visible floor, but he stops working normally further out and can't go down steps. I made a demo using movable steps to show what I mean.

Try going up and down the steps then move the FD further out. I think B goes into trick mode so he's just floating up the steps? But then he can't walk down them if he's too far out.

@Denis Nazin did a lot of interesting research about this and has some fun levels that use this fact. (Unfortunately I didn't remember where to find them).
Basically, outside of the 16x16 grid objects are "invisible" to B. If you tap on one, the tap is registered as a tap on the ground beneath it, and B will try to walk to that spot. You can use that effect with wedges to do some interesting things. The card below demonstrates it, but if you can find Denis's levels, they are way more interesting than this.

Thank you very much my friend, I will now give the link;). All these levels are in the "out of level" album, so I will give a link to this album. It will display all levels.

There is another interesting level that I have not published "Football Out of". It is in another forum thread, here is the link:

Thanks for these! I am working on a level where B goes just one block higher than normal. I was amazed when I saw he went straight through a curved pipe! I know he can go over slopes and blocks he normally can't when higher up.
