This is not a challenge, it's an exercise to illustrate new tricks for beginners to advance their skills!

      For more tutorials, see here.

This particular tutorial focuses on some techniques where we need to push things around, things that have no draggable blocks. Unless I'm mistaken, @richardfu discovered this exploit: it is based on a quirky side effect when a motor is included in an assembly in such a way that its drive is not connected to anything. It makes the assembly loose and slidable.

Lesson 1 - Using a bot to fill the gap for a push.
Notice the slider next to the bot, and how it doesn't reach far enough to push the door open. Also, the door assembly includes a disconnected motor, which suggests that it is pushable. So send B to stand in the gap between the slider and the door, and then push the door open with slider. You don't need to push too hard, but with enough force you can send the slidable flying off the platform! Just don't send B flying off yet - he still has work to do.

Lesson 2 - B can push quite large objects.
This technique combines our new sliding exploit with the autopilot trick that is explained in Tutorial 1. First notice the sliding assembly on the target side of the door - the objective is to move this into position so that it can claim the goal. You can move it in one direction, using the draggable assembly here, but it needs to move in another direction too, to reach the goal; and B will have to help us by shoving it into place. If you've already moved the slider at this point, then you'll have to start the tutorial again, because we need to set B's autopilot before moving the slider!

We'll need some time to interfere with B's scheduled route, so send him back to where he started when the door was still closed. Then swing the model around so that you can see the brick block next to the grass wall as well as the draggable assembly on the opposite side (to gain this perspective, enable "Free Camera" in Settings, on the 5th page, after the donations page) ...

Now tap on the brick block to set B's route, and before he gets through the door quickly move the sliding assembly into place over the brick block (using the draggable assembly to do so). B will then helpfully push the sliding assembly over the goal for us in his efforts to reach the brick block.

Note: This final tap "on the brick block" can actually be executed anywhere between the brick block and the goal, along the row of squares next to the low grass wall. The idea is that B will try to get to that spot and push anything out of his way that he can

      Great tutorial once again!

One minor remark: in Lesson 2 it's not exactly clear which block to tap. Maybe change that block in the setup to a stone block to make it clear?

@GtB - Thanks, but I'm confused: I used a brick block (it's red) to indicate which one to tap. If i make it a stone block, then it will look like all the other stone blocks (grey). The red block lies between the sliding assembly and the grass wall. There's a gap in the grass wall so that you can see the brick block more easily.

      @trids Looks like I'm a little blind...sorry!

:) No problem.. There is sure to be someone else who missed it, and thanks to your highlighting it, they'll be able to find their way.

      Keep it up;)

My little suggestion is to make the red brick more obvious. You can either remove some of the grass on the side, or move the red brick closer to the goal(it doesn't matter to 'overpush'). Remember new players don't necessarily know how to turn on free camera. Overall, nice tutorial and explanations!

@trids I tried first by myself without reading your explanations and had a lot of fun with various pushings (the whole sliding assemble usually left the platform ).
Although I'm really tired and my English is sort of blamabel, I afterwards understood your lession after several readings and it worked great. Absolutly super explained!
The brick-place is good to find, I would say. During my own tries I understood this as a hint to ran to or stand her and being pushed.

But one thing I didn't understand during my own tryings (and didn't during trying your lession till it worked and I SAW it): not the yellow bot has to climb to the red goal but only the wooden platform has to touch it. If I had understand this point, I probably would have had a chance to find the solution by myself. But because of that missunderstanding I tried hard to get yellow bot with pushings onto this wooden platform. Poor B experienced lots of hurting sport.
Question: Am I right now with the by-the-way-learning, that everything could possibly touch the goal and that is ok? (remember some R-Bots and some Balls which did the touch ..., and sometimes I let B-Bot "fly" to the goal and end with the bad feeling that I didn't find a "correct" solution)

Another good tutorial - thanks. Using B as a crushable was shown in Martin's original level "Crush on you" (#46), but I don't know if that involved a motor or not. I will agree with others that the brick block isn't easy to tap, especially for us fumble fingered folks.

@D.S.Masters If you look closely, that level is implemented by attaching a hidden draggable down below. And as I have found out, using a motor is a much better way of making crushable objects since it's easier and requires much less space.

@Sorella M. Yes, you are correct in that anything and everything that can trigger the end-button / goal is fair game. It does not have to be B who himself touches the goal. Not only can it be R or a ball, but I've seen it where the goal is movable and can be moved to touch B or some other object. Similarly, B (or another object) can be "flown" to the end or even die and fall on the goal like you suggested. All methods are allowed (unless the level creator specifies/suggests otherwise in the title description).

@richardfu_ - Thanks for your suggestion. I've edited the instructions.

Don't want to be a troublemaker, therefore question to the actives here: rating of tutorials or does this disturb the run to the bestrated member ever in this forum? (in my eyes this tutorial could be used as small level without reading the explanations, as I did with my first iwn trys)
