The Green Mile

Here's a different take...many, MANY thanks to Don Rowe for his brilliant (as per normal) suggestions, critique, and counsel. Enjoy! (I hope!)

Nice clean set of tricky steps. ItIt linear, but some of the steps themselves require good figuring out.

      | I really want to be honest with my ratings and I think I need to subtract something. I know you spent a lot of time and effort building this level with Don and I really liked the unique steps which are enjoyable, the nice design which also works for me, however, I still need more time to decide. :D
Who are supposed to win, B or Pillar R? I won with Pillar R.

      | I'm kidding, here's a 5 from me. :)

Nice easy level where everything works very well. Tried winning with B and got very close but the timing is incredibly tight.

@laurence.gr Thanks, I want nothing BUT honest ratings....

You won the intended way. Kudos!!!

@Block builder Thanks for playing, and the great rating. I'm glad you said that the steps required some thought, I'm gonna take a hiatus and try to learn how to create more complex levels. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

@laurence.gr Daggone it Laurence! I didn't read any further than the question! Lol!! Good trick. Thanks for the 5, my friend. I appreciate it.
    • Black1226
@ridgerunner Thanks for the 4, Ridge runner! Were you able to win?
    • Black1226
@ridgerunner Timing shouldn't be an issue except for the second step (which is kinda annoying) waiting for the right time to slide to the corner and go down the second set of stairs. Did you have timing problems anywhere else? I'm asking because there shouldn't be. Thanks, your answer will help me in future levels.

Really fun level. It was linear but the family of steps and tricks were great with last interesting logic step... :sneaky:
      Thanks!

@chemi Thanks, Chemi! First for playing my level, and second for the terrific 5 rating. Question. When you say "linear," what are you referring to in the sense of a level? I've heard that many times describing my levels, and I think I have an idea of what it means, but if it's a bad thing I'd like to avoid it in the future. Anyone who reads this, feel free to jump in!

Again, Chemi, I'm glad you found this to be be enjoyable, even if it is linear!

@Black1226 linear means I haven't need to think what next step is needed because there are no option. After A comes B and then C. It is a matter to know how to beat the step but you are sure you are in the correct path because there was no more options...
    • Black1226
Got it! Makes sense. I would think that all levels need a little of this equality, to enforce the path you need them to take. Perhaps not, I'll learn as I try to include more complexity.

      Thanks, Chemi!

@Black1226 “tried winning with B”. Sorry for not being clear enough.. it was an easy win for R with no timing issues , but afterwards i was experimenting try to win with B.
    • Black1226
@ridgerunner Thanks for the clarification. I really wasn't sure you won, and i know you can't win with B. It's a good exercise though.
