      Full story

      Lucky Luke is about to transport The Daltons, who he captured in The Daltons VIII, by train to the sheriff. But as the train driver arrives, a gang of bandits approaches from the surrounding hills and instantly the train driver is hit in the head. If Lucky Luke and The Daltons want to survive, they have to leave right away. The Daltons are incompetent, so Lucky Luke shall drive the train. But he can never do all the train preparations in time by himself. Luckily, The Daltons are actually willing to help. They didn’t forget that Lucky Luke helped them out in The Daltons IV when they were unable to get the food in their cell. Jolly Jumper, Lucky Luke's horse, is also helping.

      Thanks to @cpw for an idea which made the cabin area a smoother experience.

      I think the Daltons will continue forever:):rotf:
      I did not make much effort on the rest of the Daltons:oops:. But this one has a nice look. I'll try to finish it.;)

      Now this what I'm talking about! @Block builder, may I call you Bro Builder?, lol.
      This right here is the definition of EPIC, like, literally awesome...
      Bro, this is PRO as hell, awesome design and crazy gameplay!
      Now full disclaimer right here, I couldn't finish it by myself, had to watch that video, but **** dog, awesome all the way!
      You're up there with the legends man, I'm telling you, this is Grade A Meko-design!
      Oh, and there are... what's that? 9 of these you say? Man I gotta check the others! But I'll try to solve'em without the videos this time, word!

      Another fantastic episode but disappointingly i won by a shortcut, which led me to have to look at the early part of the caption, which gave me a clue for the full solution . I had already spotted the regular Dalton moveable and guessed the finish.
      once rbot is inside the drivers cabin, then he can be squashed and released facing winblock. Its also possible to use pbot to escort an R into the cabin.
    • Block builder
      @ridgerunner Yes the cabin area was a bit a struggle. But
      R-bot squashing
      is a bit too annoying/unstable/unintuitive for me to see it as a reasonable alternative. Thanks for the feedback!
    • Block builder
      @ridgerunner Can't get it done myself, can you reproduce it?
    • ridgerunner
      @Block builder ...I can reproduce the shortcut win quite easily but I misinterpreted what actually happens. If I squeeze R to the front of the train, when he returns to the cabin he always turns right. What triggers the win is either R's head or hand when he is squashed or sometimes his whole body when he is ejected towards the coal tender

      wow.i think this is the best Dalton's levels that you designed yet.The design of the beautiful train, the logic, and the arrangement of the use of the Daltons were interesting. I would say that without the help video, it took some time to find the exact solution. Of course, I understood 70% of the solution, especially the first move.
      thank's:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

      Awesome Logic and designed.

      @ridgerunner
      Of course, I found a quick shortcut that happens most of the time. After jumping onto the horse:)D) and getting to the wagon, use the slider to drive Zapper to the left of the wagon. Then B goes Toward it:cool:. By colliding with Zapper in most cases B's hand touch the Winblock while he's dead:confused::rotf:.
      Of course, this does not diminish the value of @Block builder design:rolleyes::thumbsup:
    • Block builder
      @hadi Yeah I honestly don't consider those solutions. An object should be quite consistently and fully on the win. None of these sacrifical jump and touch the 'world saving button' with the tip of two fingers solutions. This isn't Hollywood! :rotf:

      I heard rumours about chapter X will be the last one of this series, is that true? Should we start a pressure campaign in the forum against such decision? :rolleyes:
    • Block builder
      @chemi Well the number of ratings on these levels hasn't been overwhelming, so I don't see that happening. :confused:

      Honestly, if I compare it to many Netflix series :rolleyes:, they go on too long just applying the same format, theme and interrelations. The number of love/drama vampire shows with 5+ seasons alone... I don't want to be like that. Between VI and V, I kind if chose to go until X and had the general story per level in my head.

      But! That won't stop me from making more heterogenious bot group levels. :D

      Wow! Finally solved. Another master piece with extremely great detailed visual design. The game play is incredible with really cool ideas but... in general it is tricky and sneaky. :sneaky: It shouldn't be recommended to beginners...
      Thanks!

      @chemi "Oh you played the original 50 levels and want some more? I can certainly recommend you The Daltons series". :sneaky: :rotf:
