Star Penguin

Medium Slice

This will be one of my last longer/more difficult logic levels. As such, this is a barebones level, mostly just plain logic, path planning, and thinking ahead. Are you up to the challenge? ;) (One or two tricks may be needed, please see caption.)

@Star Penguin - Title says "plain logic" while the caption says otherwise?
    • Star Penguin
@gmacpro I suppose I could say it is plain logic with minimal tricks. But tricks used are only to service the logic. There are no tricks used just for the sake of flashiness or special effects.
Besides, autopilot is such a staple of the forums now that it is almost not even considered a trick anymore. And I've always used R walking techniques, even in my other logic levels.
Anyways, I consider this a logic level, not a trick or a stunt level. Anyone looking for a stunt level would be disappointed here. I've updated the description to clear any confusion. :)

Finally out! After the stunning trailers... some brilliant stuff, thanks!

Wow - This is going to be hard. It took me 1 hour to figure out how to do the ending then I looked at each section and I think I got it but now I have to execute..... It will have to wait until later....

Wow - that was very hard. I'm pretty sure I did it as intended but
Isn't Elevated Eye a trick too? I used it to turn P around...
I'm glad it's done but it was fun!! Thanks
    • Star Penguin
I would classify elevated eye as an R behavior, since R is the one who responds to it. If an eye is under a wedge, R (or P) will refuse to walk on that wedge. So yes, it's a trick, but I'd say it is an R behavior, not B. But just in case, I have now added it to the caption.
Thanks for playing and rating @gmacpro and @Qudion! :D

@Star Penguin ,all the balls are needed? I did it without using one ball but I haven't the feeling that I was cheating but if all balls are needed I'm going to play it again to do it right:rolleyes:

      Full of wonder!
    • Star Penguin
@delator77 yes, all the balls are needed. There are some ways to bypass a ball if you use timing down the road, but the full solution is nice and laid back, and doesn't require special timing.

@Star Penguin Ok my friend!!:rolleyes:I will keep trying until I find the right solution:sneaky: ... the funny thing is that my solution is pure logic ...
without using tricks like autopilot-I read your spoiler-although I didn't use one ball:confused:
      curious, is not it?:)

I also won without using one ball. Great challenge and i had every combination of bot under that wedge mistakenly trying to lift that inert slider.
    • ridgerunner
@delator77 and i have conferred and we both solved it the same clean way . Below is the video of the finish. X marks the ignored ball.
    • Star Penguin
Basically that ball was supposed to be used to put R in that spot beforehand, so that P would just turn around 180 instead of two 90 degree turns. But it's pretty much the same solution in my opinion.

@Star Penguin This level is very good and I want to complete it without reading spoilers:sneaky: ... I want you to see this movie and tell me if I'm going in the right direction ... only yes or no ... maybe I'm focusing it wrong ... jajaja at the end your answer will be a spoiler:rotf: ...
    • Star Penguin
@delator77 yes, your method matches mine except for being slightly lengthier than mine. I had P go the other way first before using him on the elevator.

  • B does not need to perform any acrobatic tricks, except for one autopilot. However, a good knowledge of R walking behaviors (stairs, eye under wedge, etc.) is helpful.
Also thanks to Block Builder for helping fix a couple shortcuts. :)
