Those stuff that you see are characters in the Baybayin writing system. The leftmost and rightmost characters are the syllables "ma" and "lo" from the words "manalo" (to win) and "matalo" (to lose). The 2nd "character" is actually the flipped characters for "na" and "ta".

Flip 90 degrees clockwise, you'll get the syllable "ta". Flip again clockwise, you'll then obtain the syllable "na".

If you form "manalo", you're destined to win. If you form "matalo", you're destined to lose.

P.S.:To remove the succeeding vowel, Spanish conquerors to the Philippines introduced the "cross symbol" (x or + placed below the character).

The Babylonian language is interesting, but I formed 'ta' in the middle and still won by blocking R's path with B a few times.
