@PvB I usually read descriptions so I read it. But I don't think it really helped me, as it's obvious you need to do something with B.

I'm just shutting down for the night and noticed yet another hint - thanks. I was trying what your hints mentioned - here's what I was doing... With B on vertical lift, tap the stone block and pull down on the lift to force B onto the eye... It worked once but haven't been able to repeat.
