Cranky Feels

The draggable has cranky feels to it.

      Because @Pratik Bhalerao 's Route Enroute mechanism is cool, I decided to adopt his mechanism and make it "controllable".

      And because I find R levels a bit slow, I decided to use two horizontal draggables to speed things up a little bit.

      Tricks
      • There's a sloped path. Using it is considered as "low ceiling". I didn't consider the use of the sloped path as a trick before because I thought it was quite straightforward. I then realized that the move itself is indeed unusual and tricky.
      • More than one autopilot at a certain area can help you proceed.

      Hints
      • Move the draggable to the left, to the right, out of the page or into the page. The best way is to press the "two-block controls".
      • There's a "one-way draggable".
      • Bring R and B on top of the controls of the draggable since they are at the center. When you move the draggable while they're on those positions, both of them will not fall.

      nice,
      you mentioned the source of idea.

      btw
      very fun to see gyro mech
      controlling other mech undirectly...

      The mechanism was fairly smooth and always interesting to watch. It was like a camshaft using B as a pushrod when viewed from above. The budgeable with the spindle was the most awkward to move. Very enjoyable.

      Great! Very smooth mechanism & interesting path & steps...Thanks for sharing @P_simorf ;)well done!

      @ridgerunner How did you move the budgeable with the spindle?:rolleyes:
      I ask you cause that was my big headache until I realized that I had to move it from the top and since I couldn't see it, I tried to do it from the bottom but even though I could move it, B would get stuck ...:sneaky:

      @P_simorf - Looks like you missed a trick? I'm pretty sure low ceiling is required :oops:

      I have to be more familiar with tools or any moving objects so that the titles for my future levels will be more accurate. Thanks for mentioning those tools!

      It kinda works like a camshaft. Just watched a YouTube vid of it. As for spindle, I think it's more on rotation even if the object goes down with the help of a yarn. If you thought of a different description, feel free to educate me.

      I consider this mechanism like a term in physics called "general plane motion".

      @Meko Guy
      Oww is that the sloped path? Oww thanks! I'll update the trick list.
    • P_simorf
      @delator77 , apologies for the visibility problems. I used rails to make it visible even at the side view yet I guess it's still difficult to press the block :cry:. I guess I should have used rails instead of grass blocks at the corner so that you can press the block at the other side.

      Wow - I gave up as this mechanism wasn't smooth on my device. B went to the win and then I seen wrong - R must win. Went back for R and when the two were almost there, the mechanism had a spasm and vibrated badly and B landed on the stairs under the win. Not sure why you needed to have impassable spots down under? Why not all grass so if a bot got dropped they could just get back on and carry on. So close to the end was good enough for me. The motor and half pillar were very hard to dislodge and I was afraid that B was going to end up on the white space. Overall nice unique level.

      @delator77 . Spindle budgeable. I removed this from the bottom by placing B on the sand block facing it. Then performed an autopilot. Tapped a far away block and quickly move the mech so that the mech squashed B into the budgeable and the autopilot effect got B back again. How did you budge it from the top?

      Great mechanism. Unique and fun! And I liked the budgeables. (The spindle one didn't seem difficult to me.)

      @ridgerunner @delator77
      I bumped the spindle budgeable from the top, by putting B on the block next to the spindle and bumping him with the rotating piece. The spindle just fell a little to the side and B could then walk up the stairs (and R could pass too, though it was a bit of a tight fit).
    • P_simorf
      @cimarronline

      Yup, that's the intended solution! I also added two blocked automatic sliders so that R can walk again from its off-centered position from the stairs and he/she can bump the ball stably.

      I thought the spindle that @delator77 is referring to is the one underneath where an automatic slider will raise afterwards.

      @P_simorf
      Those re-center R? I think a stationary ball will do that also.

      I'll try them later. :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
