Rube Goldberg

Rube Goldberg was an American cartoonist with a degree in Engineering from Berkeley. He is best known for drawing elaborate and complex (and silly) devices to do simple tasks, such as ringing a doorbell. Decades ago there was a series of games called "The Incredible Machine", and it was much the same thing - move parts into the puzzle to complete it, and it even came with an editor so you could build your own. The closest thing as far as apps is called "Rube's Lab", but it's not optimized for Android, and apparently there are too many ads and not enough levels.

Well done, didn't take long to complete but watching it was fun - the game remembered me of 'The Mouse Trap' but I can see 'TIM' as well.

Not much gameplay for B,as you said but the design is great and I enjoy how all the bots interactuate between them to make the path for B ...Thanks for sharing @D.S.Masters

I hadn't heard of Rube Goldberg before, in Britain we had a similar character called Heath Robinson. Fun level reminiscent of their wonderful contraptions, .

@delator77 I originally wanted to use ball lifts instead of the bots because that would've been more in the spirit of it, but they proved to be too large and unstable.

@Meko Guy Yeah, I loved Mouse Trap as well... you can still find it if you search craft fairs in the area.

@Jom The opposite for me - I've never heard of Heath Robinson until I Googled him. Yep, same style of insanity.

That was great fun! Fun to watch with just enough interactive steps. "Wyle E. Coyote, Genius" would be proud!

@Don G Rowe I do this game for fun, and something like this just appealed to my silly side. Maybe I'll do another Rube level at some point...
