Quarterium

The ancient Quarterium in the Italian city of Romium has been restored. B and his crew are to assess the quality of the work, to validate subsidiary funding.

So far very HARD but I'm still working on it. Had to come vent about the ball on the stone block (in the st section above the slider). B just can't get that ball. Back and forth, back and forth - will not fall. :(

Sorry I had to drop one star as this level had some nice unique moves that really obscured the route but were they stable? Put it this way, I restarted A LOT and I mean A LOT. I also counted 2 red herring balls (not needed) but with that said, I did use one trick (ToA) to get over to the 2nd section. I only found two hidden elements which also contributed to the restarting as how would you know on the 1st attempt what's going to happen? I did eventually win from start to finish all in one pass but it wasn't pretty. :) Very complex and challenging level.

EDIT - BTW, play time was just over 1.5 hours...

Superb long level. Kept seeing good moves then fun tying everything together. Thought i had the last two balls in the wrong order but the top ball fell into the correct spot.

All balls used and no ToA in my win

So I can knock down all the balls in the first section, but everything else is a dead end. Must be something hidden.
    • gmacpro
      @Don G Rowe - All 4 balls?

EDIT - I only needed 2 but now I see the intended way if ToA isn't intended....
    • Don G Rowe
      Yep.
Knock down the ball at ground level (1) in the far wall to start. Release P and strand him temporarily at the edge blocks. Stand B on the third stair and push/throw him onto the middle height ball using the slider. B walks to knock down the ball in the tower (2). Walk B back and stand him on the middle height ball. Release P and guide him with the slider so he extends his legs to knock down the middle height ball (3) with B standing on it. B can then tip the last ball hidden in the shadows (4). But everywhere I go after that is a dead end.

@Don G Rowe - You are doing great.... Time to go right, to the section on the right... Think High....

EDIT - I went low with B and the ToA

      Thanks for playing @ridgerunner, @gmacpro and @Don G Rowe.

@ridgerunner kudos for finding the solution without ToA, which is indeed not intended.

@gmacpro I placed that ball on a block because B may touch it slightly as he falls after P pushes him. Sending B to the ball after the drop directly never failed for me.

@Don G Rowe, gmacpro already gave a hint. You could watch the video now to check the next step. It's a non-obvious bot interaction.

@gmacpro Thanks for the hint. It made the rest fall into place. :rotf::rotf::rotf:

This is probably the hardest level to rate that I've played since joining. On one hand, the path, it's camouflage and the architecture is 5 star no doubt. But the game play is just unstable/messy enough to tarnish that fifth star a bit. So please consider this at least a 4.75.

@Block builder “placed ball on block” . To prevent any potential problem in this area I always made B step across to head of P as the ball is pushed. B is then dislodged by a piece of rail that holds up fence. So neat I thought it was the designed way. For me on my ipad i found the gameplay very stable.

Perfect balance of logic and tricks. Amazing design and clever solution. I don't think that moves are unstable. Thanks for another jewel!

it's take a time to found the next step after first quarter, nice camouflage and overall great gameplay and the design:thumbsup:
