Falling apples

8 balls, 8 holes for them to roll in to... Should be easy. Or is there a twist... Well yes, there is a twist, obviously.

      There's a ball track that goes underneath the righthand (in card image) rotating movable with zapper. All blocks around it are either aesthetically or functionally required, I'm affraid.

      I have to give up as I can't drop the last ball. I can get all the balls to where they need to go but can't get the twist I guess. I even tried to auto pilot over where 2 balls go with just the one but the zapper did the job. I'll need a hint to proceed.

      Cancel hint - I got it - now to win.

      Wow - that took me forever and so many restarts. It's funny because at the start, I was screwing up on where the balls were going but at the end it was like I made the level and the ball placement were perfect. Very rewarding to win. Thanks

      @gmacpro That zapper was a lucky bonus. It's primary intention was to avoid an autopilot drop with the slider above that zapper. Glad you like it!

      Throw in the towel with this one . Spent too much time. Some ballls i have good technique but others rely on timing. Last two balls are a real problem. Managed to bypass the ball you spoilered but still struggling. Final straw was B launching himself off level doing the long walk.
    • Block builder
      @ridgerunner In the intended solution, no ball is based on timing. You should be able to set all parts up, such that the next ball goes where it is intended. Only the balls that go out of the tower sideways may need a little push by the little movable that goes through the tower.
    • gmacpro
      @ridgerunner - Since you are always helping me out, all balls can be dropped with precision. I was using timing on a few too and that wasn't very reliable or successful. :thumbsup:

      Aaagh! Had a moment when I wasn’t playing and realised my simple mistake. Not everything is symmetrical. Must be an inbuilt fear of zappers ! Went back and easy this time.

      @ridgerunner Great!
      Not exactly sure what your mistake was. Did you not use the zappers to block the central movable?
    • ridgerunner
      @Block builder
      I was only using the half cylinder end of the rotatable zapper to block the movable. Just assumed both sides were the same length.

      Sorry, lost interest in this one. :(

      Wow! This is what I call a real puzzle. I employed around 45 minutes trying to understand the holes and its purposes, then how and when to fill each one... Really cool idea with many details we as players need to take into account to solve it. Thanks!

      Based on @chemi's reported (in private) "solution", I hope no-one used the first rotating movable with zapper to drop B, rather than using a ball to let B continue from the start. :unsure:
